Chapter 6: Awakining

The minotaur looked at to the direction of her and a small smirk could been seen on the face of it. Probably because of the sight of yet another person that it could kill, what made it more interested at her was that she was a female.

Thus the minotaur started to walk to her. She was so petrified that she could not run away from the minotaur.

Minutes passed while the minotaur walked to her, in the meantime it tossed the corpse of the princess away to have both hands free for the person right in front of it.

"Come on..." she muttered to herself now that she finally regained some of her sanity while she tried to move her body so that she can run away from this monster.

After a few moments she stood up and ran away as far as possible or at least tried to do so.

She felt time starting to run out for her, for her legs were beginning to feel numb. She knew there was only a few seconds before her legs were completely unable to move any further.

Time ticked and she could no longer feel her legs thus crashing to the ground. She looked at the direction of the minotaur that didn´t even try to run to her, it only walked in a slowly manner as to savor this moment of plesure of being the almighty hunter.

The minotaur stopped right before her eyes and stood still. It clapped his hands in glee, its eyes lighting up at the sight of this beautiful woman lying right in front of it.

"I Mrekulluesheam" it roared.

The minotaur eyed the weapon at its hand and confirming that it was useless for the next actions it will take thus letting it drop to the ground.

She was surprised to hear and see that the monster dropped the weapon to the ground.

"It seems that the goddess of luck favorers me today." She thought to herself.

She waited until the monster was standing close enough before her. She suddenly sprung up, catching the minotaur by near complete surprise.

She narrowly avoided the upcoming fist attack from the minotaur and saw her chance of success that the minotaur got no weapon right now.

She kept her eyes to the monster and saw that that the area around her was full of trees thus making it dificult to attack when one has a big and sturdy body.

Her temporary distraction gave the minotaur the chance to attack her yet again with a fist attack. Only this time the fist from the minotaur landed right in the abdomen of her.

She could feel her own struggle to not give in to the pain she currently felt. She blinked and saw red in a matter of seconds, her whole outfit was now dyed red because of the sudden throw up of blood.

Without a second delay she gathered her remaining strength to take her sword and thrust it to the direction of the minotaur.

The first stab hit the minotaur right in his right eye. And without a warning, she continued to jab her sword against the minotaur.

It was her life of the life of the minotaur at this point. So she didn´t care for her pain anymore.

The minotaur grabbed his head to stop the bleeding, but to no avail. It could not block the incoming strikes from the woman in front of it thus within seconds, it had collapsed onto the ground, bleeding all over the place.

Ding Ding Ding

An awful loud sound roused her. As she began looking at herself while trying to not give in and lose her conscious. A wash of memories swept over her as she tried to understand what was happening right now. She remembered her name it was the same as the on at the sword: "Shirinerris Ven Daemnila".

After a few initial moments of confusion she collected the fragments of her memory. The summary of what she could remember was the following.

Before she woke up she was a normal adventurer who just started out, one day when she went to a quest were she had to slay a demon with her fellow group of adventurers. The problem was that her group was overwhelmed by the demon and so everyone died except for her.

The demon captured her to experiment on her while he did so the demon found out that she had traces of demon blood in her body. Thus the experiments done to her were now by far more cruel then before.

The only problem was that she couldn't´t resist all the pain, what in the end killed her.
