Chapter 9: Chapter 9- Ideal Marriage
The Peach Blossom Banquet was the gloriest spring season banquet in Feng City. The Princess of National Defense ministry was originally the younger sister of Emperor Ning. She married General Chen Da and not long after that, she became a widow.
This Peach Blossom Banquet was a private gathering that she will organize during her free time of spring days at her private garden in the Emerald's Manor. Prime Minister Li was observing his three daughters. Li Qinglei was well-behaving and stable, Li Qingfei was hearty and lively and Li Qingluo was dainty and feminine. Her round body was dressed up extravagantly in order to honour her status as the matriarch of the Li household.
Ah Luo scanned Li Qinglei who donned a pale blue top and a white skirt where one can see the carefully embroidered silverish plum twigs all around. Her melon seed shaped face was in a calm and her gaze was cool. As she looked at Li Qingfei, she wore a jade coloured top with a light red bean coloured outerwear and skirt. Her skirt was embroidered with a darker silk thread. She was the tallest among the three of them. At the age of fourteen, she was around one meter and six or seven inches. When the blind blew, her light outerwear fluttered lightly, and it was stunning.
She then looked at herself. She was wearing a light cyan top and a dark blue robe with a green skirt. She even had two small buns embellished with two silver hairpins on the side of her head. Her bang was freshly cut by Xiaoyu and it covered half of her small face. When she stood beside Qinglei and Qingfei, not only she was one head shorter, she looked exactly like their servant. When Qinglei and Qingfei had a look at Qingluo, they let out a laugh. The big madam frowned and thought that Qingluo was still small and the limelight today was the two elder sisters and thus did not ask Qingluo to change her image again.
Ah Luo was busy with her sweet coated voice: "Dajie and Erjie are both so pretty today! Ah Luo will just act like your servant today. So that I can help my sisters to pick their ideal dream lord."
Qinglei and Qingfei were both blushing so hard and bashed her: "Little sister when did you became so naughty!"
Ah Luo smiled sheepishly without answering.
