Chapter 1: Look What I Found
"Madame, we can still not find the Young Master of Lin Family." It's been a year since Jiangshen disappeared. He truly disappointed Ah Cy, yet Ah Cy is still longing for his presence. Craving for his touches. She can't help but sigh, Jiangshen, why are you hiding? "Although we have not located him yet, we found that he stayed in Jade Vista one week ago." What Jiayi said gave Ah Cy a little bit of hope.
"Investigate who stayed there one week ago. If you were able to find his name on the list, also do check the back transaction." Jiayi sighed, why is she still looking for him? There are a queue of men who's willing to be hers. "Yes, Madame, the subordinate will do as you please." Jiayi bow'ed before leaving Ah Cy's office.
It was on April the fifth when he disappeared like a bubble. They were together. They spent the whole afternoon playing and watching a movie. Due to tiredness, they both fell asleep. However, when Ah Cy woke up she was left alone. She searched for him. She dialled his number several times, but he wont answer. She decided to send him a message. Week passed and he was still not showing up. That's the moment when Ah Cy realized that he really did disappear.
'You're driving me crazy, Jingshen. You don't know how much in pain I am right now.
How could you just left without warning nor saying good bye?
Or was the moment that we spent on that day was already a good bye?'
She was left with disappointment, sadness and anger. She did not expect him to be like this.
"Mèi mei! [1]" Ah Cy recognized her gēge's [2] voice. "Yunfan... gēge." Yunfan notice the look on her mèi mei's face. "How were you these past few days, mèi mei? Have you been digging deep [3]?" She's too obvious that even Yunfan her gēge noticed how devastated she is.
"Gēge do not need to worry. Mèi mei is doing good." She avoided the last question. Even if she was to answer it, nothing can change the fact that Jingshen is still hiding from everyone.
"Whar do you mean that your gēge does not need to worry? You are his only mei mei! Tell gēge your worries and gēge will comfort you in anyway he can do!" Ah Cy could not help but laugh. "Ah, Yunfan gēge, just give mèi mei a hug." A hug from someone important can help you ease the pain...
"Cry if you want to, Ah Cy. Gēge is here.." Ah Cy wanted to cry, but she have no tears to shed. Yunfan caressed her back. "Gēgē needs to go now. Take care of yourself, Ah Cy." Ah Cy nodded, without showing an emotion. "Mei mei will do, gēge. Take care."

"Madame, Young Master Lin Jinsheng's name was not on the list." If Jiayi can die because of her shakiness, she would have been dead by now. "What?! How come Jingshen's name was not on the list?!" She asked furiously. She calmed herself down, she do not want to let anger consume her.
"That is also a question for us, Madame. Young Master Jingshen was really seen there." A thought passed by Ah Cy's mind. "He used another name. Anyway, Jiayi, did you checked the transactions on Jingshen's account?" Jiayi coughed, she's dead.
"Ah, yes, Madame. Young Master Jingshen's last transaction was on the day before he went missing in action." Ah Cy dismissed Jiayi.
'You're really a bright spark [4], Jingshen. So clever.' She shook her head, trying to get rid of the thought that's on her mind.
There will be a time when she will get tired from turning the whole China upside down just to find him.
The time will come that Ah Cy will turn her back against Jingshen.
There will be a time that Ah Cy will stop chasing him and Jingshen will chase him.
But what if Jingshen's words are enough to make her calm? What if his sweet words make her fragile and just let him go off the hook [5] easily?
Ah Cy is so open and fragile towards him. She can be who she wants to be with him. She can share her thoughts with him easily. He can easily read her. For Jingshen Ah Cy is a crystal clear [6]. And that scare Ah Cy. She's afraid that he will only receive a slap on the wrist [7]... and afraid that she will end up eating her words.
"Mommy!" A two years old boy clung onto her leg. "Jiyu? Why are you here?" Ah Cy carried him. "Ah, so heavy!" She joked. Jiyu pouted and poked her cheeks. "Jiyu is bored in the house! He wants to play with Mommy!" He requested, Ah Cy can't help but to chuckle. "Alright, but before Jiyu and Mommy play, they will eat first."
"I am sorry, Ah Cy. Jiyu kept on bugging me to bring him here." This little brat, Jiyu! "It's fine, Chun. You can now go back. I wont disturb you anymore." Chun is Ah Cy's first cousin. "It's fine! He's fun to be with though!"
"Mommy, don't! I still want to annoy Chun jie [8]!" Chun let out a laugh. "Ah! Your son is so annoying yet cute, Cy!" Chun pinched his cheek before leaving Jiyu and Ah Cy alone.
"Jiyu, Mommy will fix something first before we left. Is that okay with you?" She put Jiyu down and fixed his messy hair. "Yesh!"
Ah Cy went to her table to fix some papers. Jiyu is wandering around in Ah Cy's office. Opening every drawers he will see. Until he saw something that fully caught his attention.
Jiyu grabbed it out from the drawer carefully. He stared at it, studying every details. He laughed cheekily, he walked towards his mother carrying the 'thing' with him. 'Little Jiyu will mock you, Mommy! He he he!"
"Mommy! Mommy! Look what Jiyu found!"
