Chapter 4: New World For Me
Sarah's POV
I asked Steven how did his son know fire magic. He smiled and answered, "My wife knew fire magic and she taught him. Now she died and my son resembles her. " He said with tears threatening to get down his eyes. He rubbed his eyes and asked me whether I know any magic. I said " Idk, but if i have the capability then can I learn it?? " . Steven smiled and said " yes, there are books in library wherein you cab get books and study magic. If you want higher level magic books, then you might need to join guild because higher level books are available only if they belong to a guild and can get access from the magic council. "
I smiled and asked him where I can find the library. He gave me the directions. I thanked him and went off to go to library.
(time skip)
I selected the books and sat down to read. As I was reading I found that I needed another part of the same book and I went to get that. As I was going to take it, I felt someone else's hand on it. I saw back and I noticed a blonde girl with cute face. She smiled and said that I can take it. I didn't want to take it. I felt like she needed it so I told her to take. We were in this no you take no you need it etc etc, until the blonde girl said, " fine lets read it together. Isn't it a good idea?? "
I smiled and said, yes it's a good idea.
We went on her table and we both started reading from the same book. We finished the book until I realized I didn't know her name. I asked her name. She smiled and said, "My name is Lucy Heartfilia, and I am a new member of the guild here. "
She showed me her insignia which was in pink colour.
I smiled and said , " It was nice to meet you Lucy, maybe someday even i will join Fairy tail too after I learned my magic skills. "
Lucy was surprised and happy at the same time. It was like as if she had found me as her friend now. I coughed and said in a man like tone, "Would you like to be my friend, Miss Lucy Heartfilia??"
She smiled and said Yes.
After some chitchat, we went on our own ways promising that we would meet again on the same day next month as she was busy with jobs.
(time skip to some months)
After so many months, I learnt some magic like water magic, wind magic, level 1 transformation magic and some little magic. I met Lucy sometimes and I told her my story that how I reached here which I don't know and why I m studying magic.
I thought this much magic could help me get into a guild and today I was going to meet Lucy also.
Hi lucyy.. I called out to the blonde who was taking out some books from the shelves. She saw me and smiled. I smiled back and caught her hand and made her sir on a chair. She sat down and I told her that I would be able to join guild now. She was very happy knowing this and said, " Then what are you waiting for? Let's go to my guild and get you the guild mark which you always longed for. " I smiled and said yes. This was the time I was waiting for so long. I would finally get my own Fairy Tail guild insignia. My favorite guild. This would be my happiest day in my life after the day when my mother, my father and me used to celebrate my birthday together with happy smiles.
I think my mom would be happy to see me so happy now. I wish my mom could be also here with me. I was brought of my thoughts by Lucy shaking my hand and bringing me in reality. She had a worried look on her face. I said, "Don't worry I am fine. It's just that I m too much" I smiled and we both walked towards the guild....
