Chapter 3: Finally,the big deal.
"Let me guess what ticks you off:atheism?"I replied to gabriel.
"No,"he said simply,"they are not my problem."
"Cultists?"
"Wrong again."he replied.
"Well,what is your problem?"I asked,maybe a bit too angrily.I was starting to get annoyed by his attitude,and I throw a tantrum over an extra slice of pizza,so this was to be expected.
"Be careful of your tone,boy."he said sternly,"You are not to question or anger me."
Well this is a bust!I thought gabriel would be a cool dude,but here he is acting all high and mighty,because he IS high and mighty,but that's far from my point.
"Well,your lordship,please delve in depth into the issue then."
He looked like he wanted nothing more than kick me up to the heaven's front door.Then he said,"Ever heard of WW?"
"Wonder woman?"
"World War",he grunted.
"What about it?"I asked him calmly,but my
face probably gave away my curiosity.
"How much do you know about it?"
"Well it killed quite a bit of people,America and Russia became superpowers and uh,there were two wars!Jesus-christ-that's-the-main-point-how-could-I-forget?"I said.
I maybe didn't notice it before.But Gabriel was looking at me intently as I spit out all the things I wanted to say.When I got to the two wars part,he gave me a sad smile.
"What?"I had the,um,cojones to ask.
"In a year, the trilogy will be complete."he said.
"Trilogy?What trilo-oh."I stopped right there as it dawned on me.
