Chapter 92: Ruling the Underworld
He randomly picked one of the elders gathered there. This elder was one of the main elders who had supported Izashi during the voting time when Izashi wanted to challenge Zeoticus for the Family Head's position.
Izashi stared at him with emotionless eyes and said, "Hey you, from now on you shall manage the Gremory House. And if you dare trick me, you can already see the result of your predecessor. And let me inform you, I was kind to him because he was my father. For anyone else, I can only say, even I don't know when you will die. Maybe I will keep you starved untill you die or maybe I will ask someone to chop off your body parts, one after every minute."
The elder was frightened by this, he franticly nodded his head and said, "Of course Lord. There is no way I would even think of betraying you."
He was speaking the truth because after witnessing the power of Izashi, no devil in their right mind would try and go up against Izashi.
He had just killed a maou with little to no trouble. This spoke volumes of his power and it didn't look like he was even trying, he could have more power under the wraps.
Izashi stared at Sirzechs corpse and coldly smiled, "Looks like its time for me to unite the underworld."
Izashi turned his head towards Ophis, "Hmm… Looks like that solution will have to wait. I need to do some tasks before I am able to work on your solution."
Ophis nodded her head, even though she wanted the solution as quickly as possible, she could afford to wait. She said with an emotionless voice, "I will go and fight against Baka Red, after you are done with your work. Come find me in the Dimensional Gap."
Izashi sweatdropped at how nonchantly Ophis was talking about fighting the Great Red but he knew that perhaps she was the only one in the entire universe who could have such an attitude when fighting against that dragon.
He nodded his head and saw Ophis leaving with a tear in the dimensions. Izashi's magic skyrocketed suddenly, the power was strong enough to alert every single devil in the underworld.
All of them could sense that the magic was being released from the Gremory House. The maous knew that Sirzechs has gone back to the Gremory House to investigate it but now that they felt this strong magic again, they knew that they have to move to investigate it themselves.
It seemed as if Sirzechs wasn't able to investigate it properly or he was trapped somewhere. All the strong devils rushed towards the Gremory House in an attempt to find out who was releasing such a strong magic.
Izashi was sitting on a throne in the Gremory House, he sensed the devils entering the territory of the Gremory House. After the maous had been gathered, he suddenly created a barrier around the Gremory House to prevent the small fries from getting inside.
The maous didn't care much about the barrier and continued to follow the trail left behind by Izashi. They followed the trail and saw Izashi sitting comfortably in the throne room.
Izashi smiled when he saw the appearances of the three maous in front of him. He started to speak, "Congratulations maous. You arrived here quicker than I expected. Now, I have a declaration for all of you."
"Declaration? What sort of declaration?" Serafall asked with a rare serious tone. Izashi replied back almost with a calm tone, "That I am going to rule the underworld from today onwards."
Ajuka Beelzebub was the only one who remained calm even after the declaration, he spoke out, "Izashi, that's enough for a joke. Now tell us, why are you releasing such a horrifying amount of magic."
Izashi though continued to stare at the man and said, "You don't seem to understand Ajuka. I am serious when I say that I will rule the underworld from now on. You three are the only maous left now that I have killed Sirzechs."
"What did you say!? You killed Sirzechs!?" Ajuka and the other two maous asked him with surprise evident on their faces. Izashi nodded his head and pointed towards the side where Sirzechs body was lying.
"You should know now that I am serious. I will give you one chance to back away and not participate in this fight." He took a glance at Serafall and said, "Especially you Serafall, after all, Sona seems to want to marry me after I beat her in a game of chess."
Now, he revealed this information at the most unexpected time. Serafall was confused and didn't know what she should do. Her instincts were telling her to not participate in the fight.
Ajuka noticed that she seemed to be reluctant in fighting, he spoke out, "Serafall, don't interfere in the fight. Stay behind. We can handle him."
As soon as he finished speaking, he entered his Super Devil mode with Green Magic powering him up to a whole new level.
Izashi was excited to see Ajuka getting in the Super Devil mode, he said, "Great, it looks like you are pretty powerful. It was a pity that Sirzechs died before I was able to witness the power of a Super Devil. I hope you don't disappoint me too much."
He finished speaking as the crimson aura around him started to get denser. He used the destruction incarnate which was much smaller than the one he used against the Great Red and it was of Red colour instead of Blue.
There was no useless banter, they rushed at each other with the intention to kill. Ajuka was showing a calm face but internally he was fuming in anger, he couldn't believe that his best friend Sirzechs has been killed already.
He promised himself that he was going to take revenge. He was going to make Izashi regret to ever kill Sirzechs. However, that was not how it went.
In the first clash, he was pushed back by a metre, he still rushed at Izashi and tried to beat him multiple times but Izashi didn't move from his spot.
The Dragon shaped destruction incarnate let out a breath which pushed back Ajuka. Izashi gathered an energy beam strong enough to injure Ajuka in an instant and suddenly released it.
Ajuka closed his eyes as he saw the incoming blast. Suddenly, Izashi heard the words, "Absolute Defence!" A strong barrier was formed around Flabium Asmodeus as he deflected the beam in different directions.
Izashi raised his eyebrow at this, he saw that the barrier was damaged but it was regenerating very quickly. He coldly smiled and said, "You shouldn't have entered the battefield at this time.
Ajuka suddenly attacked Izashi and tried to hit him but Izashi paid him no attention, his target was Flabium Asmodeus. This time, he made a very strong disk like magic figure and threw it at Flabium Asmodeus.
The strong magic disk contained the power of destruction, the fire of the Phoenix and the Ophis's strength. It easily pierced through the barrier surrounding Flabium Asmodeus and split him apart into two pieces.
Ajuka and Serafall remained surprised at how easily Izashi had managed to kill Flabium. It was almost unfair to have this much power and be able to kill maous as if he was slaughtering chicken.
Izashi asked Ajuka, "Where do you think you are staring? You should keep your eyes on your opponent!"
Izashi had formed multiple spheres made of strong power of destruction, he spoke in an interested tone, "I wonder, how many of these can you take?"
He motioned them all to attack Ajuka who tried to resist them and counter them with his own Kankara Formula.
