Chapter 43: Vampire
"Kukuku, this is easier than I thought! What 'Strongest Kingdom'? Bah! It's just background character in my Lord's life! My lord is the real protagonist! These humans are just some stepping stones!"
A shadow murmured as it went through the slums. This shadow was quite fast and It could probably match or even surpass Daedra, one of the 10 Judgement Saints.
"My Lord is the only one who could surpass this star! Just like the prophecy foretold, 'A great disaster shall descend and reap every single life form in this star' Kuuhh! I get chills every time I remember that scene! The majestic back of my Lord as he glows in a cool golden-silver light, holding onto the prophecy and the roaring sounds of the hundreds of thousands of demons! This means he is the one who will destroy everything and lead us to another star, destroying that star too! Kukuku, it's too awesome!"
Just as the shadow was about to continue, it suddenly stopped and stared at a nearby building.
"Kukuku, looks like this kingdom isn't a background character, I must upgrade it to a side character then. Too bad I noticed such a weak ambush kukuku. I shall help my Lord reap these side characters!"
The shadow sneakily ran towards the broken down building and prepared to strike at any moment, killing whatever passed through the door.
Not long after, a 20 year old man walked out of the house. The shadow strikes at him as he was about to close the door. Just as it was about to hit him, the man dodges and hits back at the shadow. The shadow dodges and jumped back tens of meters.
"kukuku, looks like you're no ordinary side character! This will make the reaping even more fun!"
The shadow jumped towards the man but when he was only a meter away, it changed directions abruptly and struck his dagger from the left instead of the front.
The man was calm even in this unexpected situation. He grabs the shadow's hand and pulled him into the air, he then slams him down hard into the ground. The man repeats this until a small 60 washing machines wide crater was formed. (30 meters)
When he finally stops, the shadow turned into a disheveled blonde and pale vampire. The vampire was currently unconscious.
"Where did this person come from? Was he someone the Kingdom sent after me? It should be. Then looks like I won't be able to buy some buttered sugar bun. For some reason, it tastes really nice! I should buy more when I have the chance"
The man carries the knocked out vampire back to his house. Not caring about the around 43 ironing board wide crater. (30 meters)
"Did you buy the buns already big brother? So fast?!"
A teenage girl asked with stars in her eyes. Yun Che replied
"Unfortunately I didn't have the chance, I'll buy some next time okay?"
Mia had a disappointing look on her face, she was sad that there were no buns.
"okay… but you better buy lots more!"
"Okay, big brother will buy lots more."
Mia looked happy hearing the words, she hugged Yun Che while saying 'thank you!'
"Okay that's enough for now, big brother needs to settle some business okay?"
Mia looked at the dragged vampire then looked back at Yun Che with a smiling face
"Okay!"
She left for her small room while Yun Che began to tie the shadow with some chains he got from the blacksmith. It wouldn't last long for a strong being like the vampire but it would still make him spend some time to break free, Yun Che could swing his GreatSword and cut him in half during that time.
After setting it up, Yun Che awoke the vampire. He wanted to gain information.
Yun Che splashed water on the vampire
"uhhh…"
Yun Che slapped the vampire hard
"Ow! huh? Where am i? Who hit me?! Ah it's you! It seems I have been caught by a side character, you should be those characters that kidnaps a friend of the protagonist and blackmail then into a scheme, you then ultimately lose to the protagonist because you spoke too much and revealed the flaws to the protagonist! kukuku! Too bad you have kidnapped a friend of the protagonist, my Lord, and will soon die! kukuku, my Demon Lord is too strong and will kill you when the traitors of this filler kingdom tell my lord that the southern wall has an escape mechanism that will open up the walls and let every demon in! The vampire continues to talk and accidentally spit out crucial information one after another.
It's quite ironic.
Seeing what the vampire is doing, Yun Che just sits down and take notes on the important things and block out the chunni like words the vampire said.
"And then when the princess Elizabeth von Xestroth gets captured, my lord will force the King and Queen of this kingdom to surrender or the girl dies! kukuku, you will never guess this one even if you have a million years! Then when marquis Ricardo of the Jexis family opens the gate like the plan, you will also die in the end! kukuku!"
"Ah, you finally ended? Ok then what's your name?"
'The saying "you must not fear a god-like enemy but a pig-like teammate" is really true! Without all these information, this kingdom would surely fall even if it's not caused by this war. His name should be remembered so that I don't name any of my descendents like him, there might be a curse in the name.'
The vampire looked smug
"Humph! My name shouldn't be known by you. Even if you have defeated me, you are still a measly side character and will eventually be defeated by my great demon lord! Such a measly thing would sully my great name if it knows it."
"Oh? Would you prefer me to get it out from you?"
The vampire still looked proud
"I have lived for more than 4 generations of your human lives, torturing me wouldn't be able to affect me at all!"
"Really? Then let us test it."
Yun Che slowly peels off the vampire's toenails and fingernails, making sure it would be as painful and long as it could be. The vampire still looked smug
"humph! Just this? I have experience worse!"
Yun Che cuts his arteries and veins, turning his body parts useless. The same as Xiao Yulong who was brutally killed by Yun Che before Yun Che met SAI.
"mmm mhhkk kkukuku!"
Even though the vampire was a complete mess, it still, somehow, had a smug face while faints sounds of 'kukuku' could be heard.
Yun Che did this to Xiao Yulong because he had angered Yun Che very much but Yun Che wouldn't normally do this to the vampire. They still didn't have any blood feud after all.
After weeks of watching the kingdom fought against the demon army, Yun Che learned about Vampires and their abilities. He was greatly surprised about them so he made sure to test out their abilities when he had a chance.
Yun Che gave the vampire blood, the vampire soon recovered until it actually resembled a human now.
"Kukuku! Looks like you really are that side character! Such a fearsome torture technique, I only know one other technique thats more fearsome that it! but you will still not break my will kukuku."
Yun Che was shocked that the vampire could withstand such a fearsome torture technique, even he would probably not have such a strong will.
'Since physical torture doesn't work, let's do mental torture!'
