Chapter 30: Gao Ling looked like a real Goddess
Qing Yun reached home to pick Gao Ling to Silver Star Resorts. She saw Gao Ling was dressed in casual light blue jeans and pink sweater.
"Xiao Ling, I told you already that we are going to party hard dear! Why are you in such boring clothes? The summer is not gone yet completely. Let me choose something fun for you to wear" Qing Yun dragged her best friend in to walk in wardrobe.
Silver Star resort is elite place, which only allows limited no of people. Qing Yun pulled some strings to get reservation just to make her friend happy. It is located on the outskirts of the city on a foothill of a mountain.
Gao Ling entered the resort following Qing Yun. They reached the pavilion booked specially for them. Gao Ling was dumbstruck by the beauty of the place.
Suddenly someone came from behind and hugged Gao Ling very tight. Gao Ling screamed with happiness. How come she will not identify the person who is hugging? Gao Ling turned and gave kiss on the cheek.
"Xiao Mei, I don't have any words to describe how much I had missed you" Gao Ling was hugging her still.
"Oh Yeah Xiao Ling. I should be angry with you since you never called me." Fu Mei gave a pouted face to Gao Ling.
"I'm so sorry Xiao Mei, please forgive me. I'm so glad to see you. But tell me honestly how you reached here"
Fu Mei pointed her finger at Qing Yun. Qing Yun was beaming as if she did a secret mission successfully.
"Xiao Ling, Me and Yun are friends from school. We know each other for a long time."
"What!!! Ong The world is so small!!!!I just can't believe it."
"Both of you stop! Enough with your reminiscence. Let's have this lovely glass of rose wine. I got especially for us from my friend" Qing Yun said with excitement.
Music was in the wind, there were announcement for the guest to participate on dance.
Qing Yun and Fu Mei got very excited. They drank the wine in one gulp and dragged Gao Ling to the dance floor.
The dance floor was already filled with lots of people. Three of them merged into the floor and started shaking the body with dance moves. The DJ of the night is dedicating the night Michael Jackson since it was his bday.
Gao Ling started enjoying and pulled Fu Mei & Qing Yun
"Xiao Yun, Xiao Mei This is so much fun. Let's us dance till we drain or of energy, what do you guys say"
Both the friends agreed happily. The wine was too strong for them, so they enjoyed the surrounding around them.
They played Gao Ling's favorite Song 'Beat It remixed version'
Gao Ling started dancing with full energy. No she taken the center stage, the entire crowd attention was on her
Fu Mei and Qing Yun started cheering their friend.
"Go Xiao Ling, Whooooooo.Rockstar Ling" they were screaming this continuously.
One guy came forward from the crowd and danced equally with Gao Ling.
Since it's just dance. Ling sportively danced along. After two more songs she felt hungry.
Three of them left the stage and went back to their pavilion.
The guy who was standing with Gao Ling's thoughts was mesmerized. His friends has taken a video of their dancing. The guy who danced with Gao Ling is called Chen Qiang. He is there heir of Chen Corporation. They posted that video in their local weibo.
Chen Qiang grew curious about Gao Ling. He asked his friend about her seating arrangement in the resort.
Meanwhile the girls were having sumptuous meal. They ordered Zhajiang Noodles, Peking Roast Duck Shitake Fried Rice with Water Chestnuts, Beef Noodles, Ma Po Tofu, Oyster omelet, Red tortoise cake Scallion pancakes along with rose wine.
After the meal, Yun wanted to play some games. Gao Ling excused herself and took a stroll around the resort. She found a small lake overlooking a mountain. She sat on the grass and grazing at the stars in the sky. This resort is like a nature paradise. Somehow she felt like missing Shen Mingyu. Though Gao Ling enjoyed the night, her heart seemed to crave for Mingyu. She just closed her eyes and lied down on the controlling the surging inner feelings.
Chen Qiang came to the pavilion where Gao Ling was supposed to be there. He felt little disappointed not finding. Then he thought of having a walk around the resort. Suddenly his spotted a thin figure lying on the grass. Gao Ling looked like a real goddess in the Boho Floral Sleeveless Midi Dress.
He walked closer to her and before he could sit. She jolted up straight with confused expression
"Hi, I am Chen Qiang, Sorry did I disturb you from your peaceful state. I just came to say 'You were amazing on the dance floor.' I thought to speak to you, so that's why came looking for you."
Initially Gao Ling was feeling weird about the guy, when he spoke in a calm manner, she felt little relaxed
"Thanks Mr.Chen Qiang for your kind words. You didn't disturb me. Anyway I got to go since my friends will be searching for me. Bye" with that she stood up to leave.
"Miss, May I please know your name. I really like you after seeing the way danced a while ago. I would like to go for coffee with you, what do you say"
"I'm Gao Ling. Right now I am not position to go out with anyone. I'm completely occupied with work these days. Sorry Mr.Chen Qiang I hope you understand, I really got to go now" She left quickly after rejecting him politely.
He didn't feel bad about her rejection. He desire to pursue was more than before now. He wanted to find more data about her first.
Chen Qiang friends were really drunk. When they found their friend talking to the girl he like. They started clicking pictures of Chen Qiang and Gao Ling. They posted on the Weibo accounts with a tag
"Our Young master Qiang found his girl finally".
Chen Qiang and Mingyu were from same school during High School. When Chen's friends posted the photo, Mingyu Phone vibrated
He never checks the school groups, but his sharp eyes caught the silhouette of the girl he loves. He opened the chat and shocked seeing the pics and dance video.
He slammed the table very hard. He took his car keys and left the office very quickly.
