Chapter 5: Daydreams
After blinking her eyes a bit there was nothing there. She must be seeing things after the fright of her dream. Splashing water on her face held calm her down. She turns off the water and dries her face with a hand towel.
Leaving the bathroom and gets back in bed and picks up the book she has been reading. After trying to focus on the book she just can't and puts it down. She lays there running the dream over and over in her head trying to figure out why she felt so scared.
Is it something to come, is there something bad that's going to happen? she keeps thinking to herself.
Oneiroi after getting home and taking his true form and collapsing on the bed for several hours. He finally awoke and ran his hands through his hair. Getting up and heading to the dungeon to get his food source.
Once down in the dungeon he picked the most lively of all the people in there. He then drank the person of all their blood. He then took the body to the kitchen and had the staff cook it up. He sat at the head of the table in the dining hall. The now cooked body was plated like fine steak and ribs. He ate the plate once it was placed in front of him.
When he finished his food he felt energized. He wiped his face and got up from the table. Heading to the study to read up on some magic basics. It will help to strengthen his magic skills. Since its been so long starting small and working up will help. He needs to last longer than just a few hours.
"What will she think of me when she finds out who and what I am?" He says to himself as he reads through his books.
In his true form he really looked like a demon. Taller than the average man at 7 feet tall. Hoofed feet and legs almost like a goat. Large wings almost like a bats wings. Broad shoulders and a very muscular upper body. His face was the scariest part with four big horns on top of his head and long pointed ears. A pointed chin square jaw with sharp teeth and glowing eyes.
As dawn approached Oneiroi had read through all his books and it was time for him to start practicing. He headed to his workshop behind his castle.
Once inside he started working on small spells. These small spells will help flex his magic and build his endurance to hold the transformation spell longer.
Back at the kingdom of Valor Helios had woken early to head to the kingdom his princess was from. He had showered and dressed then headed down to eat something. Helios was on cloud nine when thinking about his bride to be. She was a wonderful woman. Smart, sweet and funny she was lovely and perfect in his eyes.
Hesperus was finding it hard to change his ways. Even though he found someone he really wanted to love it was hard to change. A chamber maid came out of Hesperus' room that morning after spending all night in his bed. She had a huge grin on her face. She always had a thing for Hesperus. She was so pleased when he grabbed her and took her to his room. She went about her work knowing she may never get the chance again. It was a little heartbroken over it but she still wore a smile.
Helios sat down and waited to be served his meal. He was daydreaming about the wedding. Mindlessly he begins to eat the food that was placed in front of him. He couldn't help picturing the perfect wedding. His bride was already lovely but she would just look like an angel in a wedding dress.
Amora can't sleep so she gets up and goes and soaks in a hot bath. She can't shake the feeling like the dream was a foreshadow of things to come. The glowing eyes she felt as if she had seen them more then once but when.
She pushes it from her mind by telling herself over and over its just a dream. She relaxes in the tub and starts to daydream about the prince who danced with her. I wonder if I will see him again, it felt as if I knew him my whole life. She thinks to herself as she gets out of the bath and dries off.
Leaving the bathroom after draining the bath. She gets dressed in a sage green form fitting dress. With belled sleeves at the elbow. It also has a silver belt that met at a v in the front and then hung down the length of the dress. There was also silver trim around the neckline of the dress as well as at the elbow where the bell sleeve starts.
Once dressed she sits and brushes her hair. She is only really half paying attention. As her mind is still daydreaming about the prince.
Hesperus gets out of bed. He takes a quick shower. He really doesn't feel guilty about what he did last night. Turns off the shower and dries off. once back in his room he gets dressed. Once ready for the day he leaves his room and joins his brother in the dining room.
"Good morning brother" he greets his twin as he sits down.
"Hmm, what oh good morning Hesperus" Helios says as he is pulled from his daydream.
"How can you picture yourself with only one woman?" Hesperus asks his brother.
"What do you mean brother, she is perfect how could I not?" Helios says in response.
"Yes but there are so many beautiful woman out there how can you not want them all" is Hesperus' response.
"Because I am not like you brother, the only one I want will soon be my bride." Helios tells his brother as he finishes his food.
