Chapter 16: Found

Lucas sliced the piece of meat before him with stiff hands, the knife shaking like a miniscule pendulum on twice the speed.

"Master Lucas, is your mortal body of fine shape today?" The lady standing behind him spoke gracefully, as soft and sweetly as an angel.

[I AM NOT OKAY!] Lucas wanted to complain.

"I feel a bit queasy, but by the Sun God's providence, illness is not mine." Lucas ended up saying.

'FUUUUUCCCC' Lucas was internally pulling at his hair. 'STUPID TRANSLATIONS!'

"Well good of a news it is then, Milord." The woman gracefully bowed. "It seems this one's worries were for naught. Master will forever be in fine shape by the Sun God's favor."

Lucas could not even look at this woman in the eyes, she was dazzling in radiance all the time. Her refined charm, robust body, graceful movements and a divine face.

'Is this thing still a human?!' Lucas internally cursed as he felt his heart beating rapidly and his face flushed a deeper shade.

'FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!' Lucas struggled to maintain his poker face as he felt his loins down there start to stiffen.

Lucas held himself still as he fought an internal war between his mind against his tongue and his hard sausage that was painfully pushing against his makeshift underpants.

The beautiful woman had suddenly knocked on his door and served him food when Lucas had just finished dressing up. She did not introduce herself or anything but just stood there awaiting his order.

[Goddamnit, what the hell is happening to the world…] Lucas accidentally blurted out.

"By the Sun God's providence, what transpires of recent date." Lucas instead spoke out in a demanding voice.

"Milord, The Champion of the Sun, Rowaldis Keysian von Lupis Wyndfall, is now returning from his conquest for Westwynd." The lady spoke in an angelic voice.

Lucas immediately forgot about the war with his sausage and perked up at the mention of this Rowaldis fellow.

"Rowaldis? Which child of the Sun God is this one again?" Lucas blurted out before he could think.

"He is the 5th prince of Wyndfall Kingdom, Milord." The lady patiently explained. "He is of close standing with Master, or is he not?"

"What?" Lucas clenched his fist.

"Ah!" The lady was startled and bowed deeply. "Forgive this humble nun, it was presumptuous of me. Forgive me for over stepping my position."

'Oh crap.' Lucas thought. 'I didn't mean to scare her.'

"Worry not, I do not hold enmity towards him." Lucas admonished at her for some reason. "I just hope that you do not speak of him with such familiarity. He has nothing to do with you."

Lucas spoke something very different from what he imagined.

'Fuck, Fuck, Fuck this auto correct!' Lucas cursed inside.

He was still complaining to himself when the lady raised her head and stared at Lucas in some kind of admiration and fear.

'To think that he was this concerned about me getting close to another man…' The lady held within herself these dangerous thoughts. 'Could it be… no, he's just a child… but…'

The lady held a radiant smile that threatened to blind those that dared to stare too close.

"Master Lucas…" The lady crept behind Lucas and whispered in his ear.

Lucas was broken off his thoughts as he felt shivers down his spine when he felt the lady's warm hands slowly wrap around him sensually.

He felt like a frog being wrapped a snake.

It did not feel safe.

Lucas immediately got up and used the effects of the equipment he had to nimbly slide through the air and land three meters away in one breath.

"Milord…" The nun gracefully pulled back. "For you to tell me to keep my distance from others… perhaps…"

"Perhaps what?" Lucas growled.

"Perhaps to keep me for himself is the desire of Master Lucas…" The lady spoke with a slight bit of hysteria.

Lucas met the Lady's eyes which were glittering with madness, sending a shiver down his spine.

The lady had kept her sense of refined behavior and eloquence but had seemed like a wolf on sheep's clothing once the dangerous shine on her eyes was taken into consideration.

[WHAT ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT?!] Lucas wanted to scream. [STOP THIS!]

"KNOW YOUR PLACE, WOMAN!" Lucas bellowed. "Cease your heresy at once!"

The lady bowed slightly but still kept her chilling smile plastered on her face.

"Of course, Milord." The lady spoke with a fanatic tone. "Myself will always know that only to you I shall belong forever…"

Lucas immediately wanted to get out of the room, as far away as possible from the crazy woman as possible.

"I have lost my appetite." Lucas waved his hand. "Away with the food and leave my sight immediately."

Lucas for once thanked the translation for interpreting his words correctly.

"Yes master, for the glory of the Sun God." The woman said as she took away the food and left the room.

After waiting a few moments to make sure that the crazy woman was gone, Lucas had a deep sigh as h crashed down his bed.

'Where the fuck am I…' Lucas thought warily.

Rowan grit his teeth as he pulled the saber lodged halfway into a soldier's chest. His body was on the verge of collapsing and he couldn't even feel the pain anymore, he just felt heavy and numb all over.

'I need somewhere to rest.' Rowan breathed heavily as the soldier's body behind him dropped to the blood soaked carpet with a dull thud.

Rowan had been running around with his broken body for at least twelve hours by now. He could not stand any more of such arduous abuse to his body. No matter how strong the mind is, the body always has it's limits.

Rowan soon found a large hall lined with many pillars around 17 ft. tall, with each pillar having a massive niche where a statue stood he decided to rest in this room.

Rowan channeled his remaining energy and dashed at full speed against a pillar and planted a foot against it.

As he felt the friction rise from the momentum, Rowan used this as he kicked his foot up, and repeated the process two more times as all his momentum was gone and allowed gravity to pull his upper body back by a bit, making him look like he was sitting on the wall.

He kicked up at the perfect angle, sending him straight into another pillar as he twisted his body like a spiraling arrow mid air and landed on all fours in the next pillar, once again using his momentum to crawl up and scale the pillar and finally reaching the niche where the statue was located.

Rowan snuggled in a fetal position behind the statue and felt all his strength leave him in an instant. His body felt like a block of lead and his eyelids drooped like heavy cloth over his eyes.

Still, despite the overwhelming fatigue rushing over him, Rowan fought the sleepiness and pulled out a few flowers from his bag and placed them all over him.

These flowers were called nū-odoris. If his memory served him right, which had popped out of nowhere, this flower did not have any scent, and it specialized in nullifying odors by absorbing them. These can be used to prevent getting tracked by hounds and lesser balrogs if the stupid soldiers finally realized they could have done that from the start and they could have avoided ambushes and not require manual tracking.

Rowan had picked these flowers which were mixed in with other flowers in the offerings chambers of the Church. The person who offered it must have only paid attention to the price and decided it was worthy of an offering since the flower was pretty expensive. Only alchemists could cultivate these after all.

As Rowan had finally relaxed his body and was about ready to submit himself to the land of sleep, the main door of the chamber opened with a resounding creak.

'Goddamnit let me sleep.' Rowan was pissed off. 'I know you haven't found me so can you please fuck off?'

Rowan soon heard the footsteps of 7 armored boots and figured that they must have come here for a meeting.

Because no one in the right mind would only bring 7 people to take him down now that Rowan had managed to elude and entire battalion, slaughter entire platoons, pop out of nowhere and use any weapon with full proficiency.

Rowan chuckled to himself.

'Why don't you just bring an entire legion here?' Rowan snickered, adamant on sleeping than give a damn.

As Rowan was once again about to sleep, he heard the conversation of the people below him.

"Have we found the memory crystal that belongs to the Shadow yet?"

"Yes, but the Templars refuse to hand it over to the Inquisition."

"What?! Why?!"

"They said some important information might be in there."

"This is heresy! The Pope ordered immediate termination of the crystal!"

"I know, that is why we are gathered here today. To talk about apprehending the Templars."

"Only seven of us won't be enough. Especially when Sir Randolf is still recovering in the infirmary after the Shadow tortured him. Poor soul."

As the men continued to talk, Rowan had been scratching his head at the thought of them breaking his memory crystal.

'I hate time constraints…' Rowan seethed and pushed his aching body to stand and equip the weapons, though he was not sure he could take on any of the knights since he didn't have his bludgeon anymore.

'Should I use the half-sword technique?' Rowan debated as he stared at the little short sword. 'Nope, that wasn't going to work…'

Rowan was still racking his brain when he heard innumerable footsteps of armored boots start to resound as a few marching battalions of soldiers marched towards the hall.

"These soldiers will fight with us and apprehend the Templars." One of the people below Rowan spoke.

"That is good. Are they reinforcements from the surrounding small churches?"

"Yes, they barely know each other, but I suppose we have no choice but to rearrange them depending on the amount of men required to complete different sets of tasks."

"Indeed, we are left no choice."

"Aye."

"So… when are we going to start on finding those Templars?"

"What do you mean when do we start?"

"Huh?"

"We already found them."
