Chapter 5: The Song
After his introduction was done people were still on their feet screaming as the next person stepped forward "Hello London, I'm V," Taehyung said as he waved his two hands. Today he was wearing a slightly large striped dress shirt with three buttons undone, the front of the shirt was tucked underneath blue jeans that fit him snugly but not enough to be uncomfortable.
As he waved, his silky light brown bangs swayed in unison with his little waves and being the photographer she was, of course, she couldn't miss an opportunity like this so like everyone else she whipped out her camera and started taking pictures from high to low angles, if everyone else wasn't doing the exact same thing then this would be quite a sight.
Next was a little short ball of godly air, Suga. She had to admit, thought the obsessive gan that she was she had thought that their flawless looks where part of the camera editing and angles, but now looking at them up close like this made her body tingle with excitement
By the time she got out of her stupor, Suga had already introduced himself and Jungkook was in the middle of his introduction.
She cursed at herself internally but she realized her fingers had automatically pressed the shutter button and it had taken pictures throughout his intro.
"Hi Army, I'm Jungkook and I'm he youngest of BTS, thank you for coming and it's nice to meet you"
In this event, we weren't allowed to videotape anything because it would air in the coming weeks but if she could have then she would have probably put the Goblin OST right behind his melodic voice and flowers sprouting behind him to show how wonderfully perfect this man really was.
I mean he is only 22 years old and he brings an unimaginable amount of money to his bank account and the Korean economic and he's only a few years older than me!
Today he was wearing a white dress shirt and similar to Taehyung's it was undone a few buttons below, with it he was wearing baggy light blue jeans and short boots with a hat. Suddenly before Jungkook could step back an energy ball jumped beside him and pointed to himself " Army!" His energy really reaches everyone and had us smiling while laughing at the surprised expression on JungKook's face
"I'm your Hope, Your my Hope!, I'm -" he paused at the end and we all finished
"J-Hope!"
The last one to introduce themselves is the leader RM concluding the intro's it was then the Mc's turn and everyone quieted down."Welcome, Welcome," the host said to the seven boys sitting opposite towards him, "it's honestly an honour to be sitting across legends themselves"
At this, RM the leader raised the mic in his hand "I think it's us that should be saying that"
"Oh please, you're just saying that I mean you guys are the headliners for every single news outlet worldwide after your legendary concert on the Wembley Stage; It's almost an insult for you to compare yourself to me" replied the MC. Even though he said this on the outside his inner voice stood on top of a pedestal with a long pointy nose laughing haughtily.
The MC continues to flatter the boys, but near the very back of the theatre, a hooded figure sat, with his back hunched and an eerie smile on his face. This individual sat near the edge of the seats and in his hands was a camera and a poster but the poster was rolled up and put on the floor; his eyes held something akin to hatred but no one noticed these piercing eyes because of the cap pulled down in a way that only showed his nose and mouth
He'd been waiting for this opportunity for far too long that he could barely contain his excitement, the hatred that he built was escaping in seeps through sweat and his breathing became erratic as a disturbing smile took over his face, making the boy beside him cringe and try to scoot as far away as possible
"Now to kick off the event, we would like to have five volunteers from our lovely audience" at this every single person in the crowd raised their hands in unison making the host pause "Haha, I haven't finished yet. The volunteers will be picked according to which seat number is called, its already been pre-drawn"
In the middle of the crowd near the front sat Nina with her camera on her lap. She'd already been lucky enough have gotten here but now she wished that her luck hadn't run out; as they started calling out numbers Nina's heart raced, the blood rushed towards her head and it started feeling like her head had a heartbeat
"Lucky number fifty-six"
A large girl sitting 7 rows back excitedly screamed as she stood up and ran towards the stage not even caring that she was basically toppling over people feet to get there.
"Number five"
Again another scream came but from a fashionably dressed girl sitting not too far from her, as she stood Nina realized that she recognized this girl from before at the lineup, right after that another number was called and the girl beside the screeching lady stood and started walking right behind.
That was three people chosen and Nina's hope started dwindling
"Number one thirty-two, please come up to the stage," the MC said and when there was no scream as he had expected he repeated the number again. This time at the corner of the first row stood a thin figure dressed in black and a cap covering half of his face, as everyone watched as he walked up to the staircase leading up to the stage the MC then started calling out the last lucky number
With a pause, adding on to the already tense silence he started speaking and every single person held their breaths "And the last lucky number is... thirteen, please come up to the stage"
Again the Mc didn't hear any scream or see any movement from the crowd, a few seconds passed until someone tapped Nina on the shoulder "I'm number twelve, I think your thirteen" stated the boy.
