Chapter 5: Care for Me
Hours had passed and a single of Hayabusa's team came back. Not even a report abouth the village or the Akakage was delivered. We just hoped that they weren't ambushed or captured by those evil ninjas.
I kept on casting my Yin Yang Overturn but it kept on closing. Something's not right. I could perfectly cast iy before. A spirit that dwells under my umbrella began to whisper.
"He's coming for him"
I could hear the words clearly.
"Who's coming?", I tried to ask but only my voice echoed into the void space under my sacred instrument.
Then, I could hear loud screams and evil laugh.
"Ahhhhh!"
"He's coming"
"He's coming, Kagura"
"Kagura" I almost screamed when someone grabbed my shoulder. I just noticed now that I was heading outside the main entrance. I saw Hayabusa holding arm.
"What's wrong?", he asked. I could not answer for fear surrounded my being. This is one of those rare moments that spirits from the void would try to contact a human. They simply help in combat and fughts but not converse with us. Something is going to happen.
" Someone's coming, Haya", I softly said. " And I don't know who" I buried my face on his chest. And I could smell his sweet fragrance. It's like the cherry blossoms in full bloom.
He stepped back. I looked at him and just smiled. You make me at ease, Haya.
