Chapter 2: Chapter Two: Land of Dawn
The two have arrived in the Land of Dawn. They exactly landed at the center of the place which is the busiest part. The marketplace, where all people are active and doing their businesses in able to live and have a life.
Everything seems to be normal and at peace. People are smiling and greeting them happily as they pass by the stalls.
The two continued walking around the marketplace, observing the surroundings and the people around them just to be sure that no dark creature is causing trouble in the area.
Not later that time. Someone caught Uranus' attention.
A small being bump into him.
"Oh! I'm so sorry Uranus! Harith is chasing after me". Nana explained while hiding behind him.
Harith arrived and greeted Kaja and Uranus.
"Its been awhile since you visited Kaja and Uranus. How have you been all this time?".
"We are doing well Harith, and i can see you are having trouble with Nana?" Kaja explained calmly.
"No. No troubles at all. We are the ones who is going to get in trouble if we dont head back to the kingdom right on time. Alucard is very strict with us". Harith explained in a worried tone.
All of a sudden...
"Harith, Nana what did I both tell you? You need to head back right on time." Alucard exclaimed.
Kaja look at Alucard. "I see, so the council led us here to find you having trouble babysitting these two?". He said sarcastically.
Alucard stared at Kaja and replied. "Well, we all know what happened to Harith in the forest. I just need to take extra care of these two. And rumors are spreading yet I haven't seen any attacks".
"You always avoid me and Harith to play outside the Kingdom yet you don't have any proof about the attacks here in the Land of Dawn". Nana said with a childish tone.
"Nana please. Alucard is just concerned with us. Don't be rude". Harith explained.
"Hmm... I guess Uranus and I will need to stay here more just to secure the Land of Dawn and the Kingdom of course." Kaja said.
"Well, you two are always welcome in our Kingdom. You know that." Alucard replied to Kaja.
"Hmp! Atleast i will have Uranus now as my new playmate in the Kingdom right Uranus?" Nana said childishly.
Uranus nodded as to agree upon what nana said. The group returned back to the Kingdom in able to have their dinner and to take some rest after all of the walking.
After dinner, while Uranus, Harith and Nana are playing in the Kingdom's garden. Alucard and Kaja are talking not far from them.
"So tell me Alucard. Are the rumors true? Is the Dark Abyss sending dark creatures again here in the Land of Dawn to cause havoc?". Kaja asked in a serious tone.
"Not yet. Not in the marketplace. But in some areas yes. Areas which are far from the Kingdom. Areas where they think people are weak and defenseless. They already have attack around 5 areas. Wrecked homes. Abandoned children letting them starve to death. And a lot more troubles which is out of my reach." Alucard pauses and let out a deep breath.
"So its true. No wonder the council called for us. Don't worry Alucard. We are here to help you. We will figure this out as soon as possible." Kaja replied while tapping Alucard's shoulder.
"Thank you Kaja. Atleast i will be less worried and troublesome. More allies to help is better than being alone." Alucard sighs after talking.
"Alucard you are not alone. You have them." Kaja replied while looking at Harith and Nana.
"That's the problem. I am afraid I may not protect them all the time". Alucard replied with a sad voice.
Kaja looked at Alucard with sadness and deep thoughts. Its like he felt this way before. This sadness. This worry some feeling. But to whom? Where? When? Its like a memory is showing up yet fading so fast. He seems to remember something but is unstable. He kept quiet and lean his back on the seat.
Alucard called Harith and Nana for its getting late and they need to take some rest. Uranus followed as well. The group went inside the Kingdom and went to their rooms to get some sleep.
