Chapter 2: First Strike
Time passed, eventually, Argus gained a lust for power and was consumed by the darkness of the sword created by the Dark Lord of the Abyss. The corruption weakened his holy powers, especially the powers that binded Zhask's spirit scout. Finally free after years of imprisonment, the spirit made contact with Zhask and the Kastiyans. Seeing the vast amount of resources, inhabitants and magic, Zhask set out to the Land of Dawn to do what he does best: Dominate, Kill and Reap.
Normally, Zhask would set out alone with a few drone Kastiyans, and his spawns, to conserve Kastiyan resources. Warping a long distance invasion force requires a lot of energy, and a blood moon to form a "magnetic field runway". It doesn't bother Zhask at all, as he has already conquered countless worlds alone, as long as he has Domorey. But on a rare circumstance, when a planet can defend against Zhask, he will send the full might of the Kastiyan civilization when a world is still worth time and resource.
As Zhask landed on the land of dawn, he went to work. He terrorized many villages, warping resources and captives back to their world, with the help of Domorey's power. Some lf the villagers were even turned into mind-enslaved minions. The Moniyan Empire was aware of this requested help from different heroes. first to respond were Tigreal, Fanny and Alucard with the Imperial Army, Gord and the Magic Academy, and Layla and Bruno with the Eruditio. United, they faced Zhask with his army of spawns and mind-enslaved minions.
It was a war that lasted for months. Zhask was a formidable opponent, and as the war prolonged, Zhask's mind-enslaved minions multiplied in number. The united forces of dawn had to ask for more help. Minotaur and Clint answered the call from the western lands, but this wasn't enough. They needed more help, so Fanny ventured to Nost Gal to seek help from the Goddess, Freya.
The war was tight, and Zhask's forces pushed forward. There were many injured and unable to fight, until the Angel Rafaela joined the fray. The injured stood up and fought again, as if no damage was inflicted. With great timing, the winged Goddess Freya, and Fanny flew to the battlefield. The united forces of dawn commenced a final charge. Admitting his upcoming defeat, Zhask recalled his spawns and fled.
By the date 5.15, the united forces of dawn triumphed over an outworld invasion. But our heroes' duties are not yet over, there is still evilness in the Land of Dawn, and Zhask is on the loose. When he returns, our heroes will unite once more... When he returns...
