Chapter 3: Conspiracy
For months, Zhask lived in the shadows, hiding in the Enchanted Forest. His burning passion for conquest attracted the attention of a greater being in the Land of Dawn, The Dark Lord of the Abyss. As Zhask lurked through the forests, Zhask sensed the precense of powerful magic, usually emitted by a familiar race... Demons!
"I can smell you? Show yourself!" said Zhask.
"You're pretty rude, I just want to talk... hmhmhm" said a female voice in the shadows, giggling.
Zhask looked around. The magic smell of the demon was getting stronger. His instincts tell him that danger was lurking at the shadows. Just as he was summoning a spawn with Domorey's staff, he was struck by an arrow... an abyssal arrow. He fell to the ground and saw a woman with horns and pink hair. just before blacking out
As he was regaining conciousness, he heard the female voice again, arguing with a much deeper and darker male voice.
"But he was a meanie. Meanies should be punished" said the female voice
"The master wants him alive. If you kill him, the master will have both our heads." said the deep male voice.
Zhask awoke in a dark cave, which was dimly lit by the crimson colored magma beneath them. in the distance that surrounds him, there were hundreds of glowing red eyes, like his, staring down at him. as he looked before him, he saw the two demons arguing: Selena, the Abyssal Witch and Helcurt, the Shadowbringer. Zhask was about to reach for Domorey's staff, until Helcurt restrained him.
"Where am I? What do you want?!" yelled Zhask.
"You are in my domain, the Shadow Abyss! Mwahahaha!" said a cold and dark voice which echoed through the walls.
"Who are you? Show yourself now!" yelled Zhask even angrier.
The echoing voice just gave out another demonic laughter. "Do you not recognize who I am? Do you not recognize the reason why you have found the land of dawn? I am, no doubt, the Abyss Dominator, the Dark Lord of the Shadow Abyss, and the one responsible for corrupting the Light of Dawn Argus"
"What do you mean?" asked Zhask curiously.
"The Light of Dawn soulbinded the spirit scout which landed in the Land of Dawn. All I wanted was his allegiance... But it looks like I've got a double prize hmhmhm..." answered the Abyss Dominator.
"Strange... So, what are you playing at. What do you mean by double prize?"
"You can continue your conquest over this world, and leave your mark, Plane Dominator... With our help, of course. You can keep most of the resources and life in this plane, and all I want in return is a reign of darkness over the Land of Dawn, and to devour the souls of the living. Do we have a deal?"
Zhask gave out a sigh, and made his choice. "I used to know someone who has had the same ambition as you do, I can trust you. Alright, I shall aid you"
The Abyss Dominator let out another demonic laugh that echoed through the caves. He called out all of his powerful demons for a discussion. Selena and Helcurt were already there. Then came Thamuz, the Lord of Lava. Following him was Argus, who was no longer the Light of Dawn. He is now known as the Nightstalker. After him, came the Blood Queen, Alice, accompanied by Moskov, the Spear of Quiescence.
"What is thy bidding, my lord?" asked Argus.
"My demon bretheren, moments from now we shall begin our reign of terror over the Land of Dawn. The will of the Abyss grows stronger. Before we begin our strike, some of you will rally the other demons."
"Some? what about the others?" asked Alice.
"Good question. With us today, is a conqueror of worlds, Zhask, the Plane Dominator, and he will be one of the first attackers." Then the Abyss Dominator turned to Zhask. "Your first mission is to wreak havoc upon the Eruditio and The Magic Academy, two old rivals. Make it so the attack is blamed onto the other faction"
"With pleasure... err... lord" answered Zhask with doubts.
"Selena and Moskov will 'pay a visit' to moon lake, and gather our servants" the Abyss Dominator continued.
"Alright, my lord. hmhmhm" giggled selena.
"Helcurt and Thamuz will gain support from the Bloodaxe Orcs. Also, the Leonins are a painful race, burn down the Enchanted Forest, with the help of the Bloodaxe Orcs"
"As you wish, master" said Helcurt.
"Alice will gain support from the Necromancer, Vexana and her Necrokeep, and Argus will fly to the Eastern lands to pick up Hanzo and his Akuma followers"
"We shall my lord" said Alice.
"Very well. Now go forth! deepen the scar of the Abyss in the Land of Dawn! Mwahahaha!" said the Abyss Dominator.
Zhask traveled to Eruditio to fulfill the will of the Abyss. Little did the Abyss Dominator know, that Zhask had plans of his own.
"This is perfect! I shall conquer this world with the help of these demons. In the end, I shall make them all into mindslaves of the Kastiyan Civilization. No one is safe!" Zhask thought to himself.
