Chapter 4: Fanny's Resolve
After the battle of Galatia and Owl Clan, everything changes, the Galatia is back to start all over again. Fanny don't know where to start because she is the new chief of the village. She's still in the state of moving on, the pressure and impact of the incidents is still fresh in her memories. The war left a legacy of pain and suffering.
Almost 75% of Galatians population were killed in the battle and the 25% that were left were kids and woman including Guinevere and Fanny herself.
Fanny gathers everyone in the middle of the village for she is about to make an address to everyone in the Galatia. "Right now... We won the battle yet it takes many lives to happen. Starting now I, Fanny will be the new chief of this village and we will rebuild the village we all know! The village where everyone is happy and there is peace in our hearts.", declares by Fanny. Everyone cheers for her and from that day everyone started to build things up step by step.
Three years have past and the village of Galatia turns out to be better. After the war three years ago, Fanny's name were famous in the Land of Dawn for defeating the Owl Clan and killing many of their comrades, she was given a name by many people as the "Blade Dancer". The Galatia were one of the richest village in the Land of Dawn. Many improves in the village, First is the warriors, Fanny is now stronger and quicker than the last time. Many of the residents were also stronger, Fanny trained all the people that wants to become a strong warrior for raids and battles. These were Saber, Kaja, Hayabusa, Hanabi and Kagura. They all lost their parents during the war and they all seek Fanny's presence to be a stronger warrior to defend their village from the enemy's attacks. The village were prosperous again, it's agriculture is way more better than ever. The population blooms a little bit.
Fanny wants to continue her father's dream, to have many generations of Glaves and since she is the only remaining one with the blood of Glave running through her veins, she always take cares for herself.
Fanny wanted to explore the whole Land of Dawn after all, everything is stable and the village is safe of raids because Saber and the others can provide protection for everyone. Fanny's goal is supported by her mother Guinevere but her mother will let Fanny to go if she make a promise that she will come back. Fanny says yes and promised her mother that she will come back after a year.
"Everyone, I think I need to do something I want in order to make my father's dream come true and also to improve my leadership in this village by having a journey. I will go to explore the Land of Dawn for a year and I promise that I will come back.", Fanny announced while preparing her flying equipment.
"Fanny!!! I think you also need a group to be accompanying you in your whole journey.", said by Kaja. "I think you need a partner for exploring the vast world of Land of Dawn. I think we can handle this here in the village.", said by Hayabusa.
Fanny agrees to the others since Kaja have the ability to fly and Kaja knows a lot when it comes to world geography. He also studies about the world geography when he's not in training.
The two set their foot off the village in nighttime and start their journey in the Land of the Dawn.
While walking, Kaja asked Fanny why is she wanting to get more experience by having an expedition and what is her main reason in that journey. "My reason? I want to explore this world to find more about the truth. I want to expand my knowledge in the art of combat, for leadership and for myself to accomplish my father's dream to continue our bloodline.", replied by Fanny. "I see, I must respect your decision and serve you as my leader.", said by Kaja.
The two of them reach the northern part of the Land of the Dawn for 4 days straight just by flying and walking. "I think this must be the Kandelaria Region, if I'm correct this is the place where demons and dragons live.", said by Kaja. Fanny is speechless about the details she heard from Kaja. The two warriors then set their feet to the ground and decides to walk to the forest of Kandelaria.
