Chapter 4: Ashton
I ran as fast as lightning to my classroom after checking where it was numerous times and wish I could catch the culprit immediately. My heart burst with excitement as I sat down in the last row. The person sitting two seats horizontally away from me was gaining quite a lot of attention it seemed.
I could only hear the shrieking of girls and some of them were saying in not-so-hushed tones," I can't believe Ashton is in our class this year!" Ashton? What kind of name is that? Unlike those girls, I had zero interest in that guy called Ashton. I mean, good looks can't make up for everything, right?
When class started, the crowd that originally formed around Ashton dispersed rather quickly. I glanced at Ashton and noticed he was wearing earphones. WHAT THE HECK? So he was wearing those all along, ignoring everyone and being all king- like? What a joke. To think that such a rude guy could gain so many friends.
Other than the earphones, I noticed he had oddly bluish hair that framed a perfectly carved face, fit for a Korean idol. Well, this person actually looked decent, I admitted. But don't get fooled nor judge a book by its cover, because some people can be really nasty.
After a boring biology lesson, almost all of the energy I had in me was drained. I was totally exhausted. When I was just about to give up and lie on the ground, realisation hit me like a ton of heavy bricks. Oh no. THE MISSION!
I swept up my school bag and rushed to the rooftop to catch a glimpse of the whole school so I could start plotting my devilish plan to stop that thief.
