Chapter 4: Hogsmeade
i've been surviving for the last month on the forest going north, always north. After the encounter with that cultist i noticed that the mana i had went up in 6, so now i have 35 and in the command screen i have 2 new magics called shell! and protect!. It seems protect! protects you from physical attacks, or at least the wolves can't make more than scratches to me after using it. On the other hand shell! at first i thought it didn't do anything, but i used it to practice while in front of my campfire and i discovered i couldn't get burned so i'm guessing it is against magical attacks.
On the other hand i've been hunting to eat and i noticed that everything i kill gives me something intangible that makes me stronger. After the fourth wolf i killed my mana went up in 3 again so now i had 38 and i learned another magic called bio! which i think poisons the enemy. Not that i'll be using that soon, i'm not fond of eating a poisoned target.
The last day i reached another forest but this one is kind of dead and i feel a strong presence past this point so i dodged the place. Bordering this forest i reached a village called Hogsmeade. I then went to the first inn-like place, The Three Broomsticks and talked with the first person i found.
Rainy- ma'am can you help me? I need somewhere to stay
???- mmm? Who are you dear? I think you don't have the age to come to hogsmeade, you need to be a third year student...
Rainy- student? Where?
???- wait, you are not from hogwarts dear?
Rainy- i'm pretty sure i'm not, i've been living in the forest for a month now.
???- and your parents...? or guardians?
Rainy- i'm afraid that right now i have none ma'am (technically i do, the lady from the orphanage should alive but there's no chance i'm coming back)
???- i understand, then you can stay here for the night while i talk with some friends. My name's Rosmerta.
Rainy- actually Ms. Rosmerta, i would prefer if you didn't tell anyone i'm here (i can't trust that those magical cultist won't be mind reading everyone they find)
Rosmerta- but you are just a kid...
Rainy- i just need somewhere to stay, please. I'll work for the room, i think i need to hide for some time.
Rosmerta- what are you hiding of dear?
Rainy- some weird cultist that attacked my orphanage a month ago. They had robes, masks and sticks that they used to use something like magic... crazy right?
Rosmerta- what?? that sounds an awful lot like death eaters... why are they after you?
Rainy- you know them?? i'm not sure but maybe is because i can use something like magic as well...?
Rosmerta- Dear, being a witch is not enough reason, everyone in this village is a wizard or a witch
Rainy- what??
She then proceed to tell me everything general about the wizarding world, i just listened to all she could tell me, and after some convincing, she gave me a room in exchange of me working here until September, not sure why until then but i guess she has something in her mind.
Another thing if found out is that the magic everyone uses is different of my command screen. They all use wands to perform magic without any cooldown at all and it seems they use magic for almost everything. I really need to learn their magic, maybe in that hogwarts place she mentioned... i'll talk about that with Rosmerta Just before i have to go.
