Chapter 6: Finishing preparations
The rest of the day was awesome. I went to Madam Malkin's to buy my new quality robes, that even if expensive, i bought with a self-repair enchantment (i just need to have the extra material close) because when i heard of the forbidden forest, i knew i was going to fight a lot. A lot.
On the way to buy an ice cream i saw Flourish and Blotts and decided to buy the books after my trunk, so i went directly to a unknown trunk shop.
Rainy- sir, i would like to buy a really extended trunk, like a room size if possible.
???- sure, i've got here a trunk that is a normal room on the inside. A small room, but is still really high quality. What color do you want it?
Rainy- Silver color, sir.
After that, i paid for the trunk (lucky that i didn't need to spend any of the money i won on the three broomstick because the room and meals were for free) and i went to Flourish and Blotts and, oh boy, the number of books i wanted. I bought all hogwarts first year books and all enchantment, runes and transfiguration books i could find, after all, an enchanted equipment is a must, i don't know why, but something inside me tells me that i'll need all the enchantments i can create.
When i went to put all the books on my trunk i saw that even if is room sized i didn't have furniture so i left the books on the corner and went to buy second-hand furniture. It was really cheap so i bought a desk with a chair, three bookcases, an armchair and some more bookcases for ingredients.
I went then to buy the rest of the items such as cauldron, ingredients... but i didn't want a pet. I'm not good with animals. After all, what i want is to hunt every animal i cross paths with, hehe.
At the end of the day i came back to the three broomstick with an ice cream i bought to Rosmerta and a trunk with all the items i bought. What i wanted to do now is order everything in the trunk room because everything is on the desk, as i didn't have time to order everything while in the shop.
[3 Days later]
Rainy- hey Rosmerta, today's my birthday (or the day i appeared on that forest) i'm officially 11!
Rosmerta- What?? why didn't you tell me sooner? I would have prepared ingredients for a cake!
Rainy- nevermind that, i wanted to ask you, do you know somewhere i can buy a customized pendant or ring?
Rosmerta- oh? Well i guess, there is a jewelry shop on the diagon alley that makes silver and gold customized jewelry. Why?
Rainy- i've been dreaming with a silver pendant with the form of some kind of lion that was so cool, that i really want to buy something like it.
Rosmerta- well if it works as a birthday present here you have, some galleons and a map to the jewelry shop.
She then drew a map on a parchment and gave it to me. I thanked her and went immediately to draw what i want, so that i can show that to the shop owner.
When i finished i went directly to the shop and it was close to gringotts. Makes sense.
Rainy- hello Ms. I need a silver pendant with this form.
Ms.- sure dear. Do you want any enchantments?
Rainy- no thanks, but i will put some of my own.
Ms.- good to hear, then come here in 20 minutes and it will be ready.
Rainy- ok thanks.
So i went to the ice cream shop, these ice creams are amazing. And when i went to the jewelry the pendant was finished, so i paid for it and went to the three broomsticks again.
Rainy- look rosmerta, this is the pendant.
Rosmerta- hmm, it is really cool as you said. Not girly but that is given with you.
Rainy- hey! You know that i can be girly if i want!
Rosmerta- sure, sure, ''wolf killer'' Lionheart.
Rainy- hmph! I dont like that nickname. It makes me look like i can't with bigger things than a wolf
Rosmerta-(weren't you defending that you could be girly?) ok, ok, what are you going to do until hogwarts starts?
Rainy- Study. There aren't any students on hogsmeade during summer so there's not much to do other than kill things. So i thought of reading in my trunk the first year books, that way i'll be more advanced than the rest of the students and i can give my house the house cup.
Rosmerta- you really are competitive... ok! I'll take the meals to your room so that you can focus on study! (better than exterminating the poor wolves)
Rainy- Thanks Rosmerta!
One thing i haven't told you yet, is that killing wolves this months i've got stronger, now i have 46 of mana and i've learned two new spells called double! and haste!. It was difficult to learn what they do, but after some trial and error now i know that both spells are support spells for the C.S.
double! Gives me the opportunity to use 2 magics! at the same time which is pretty useful to end a combat, but double cost 10 mana and slows the C.S. by a lot.
On the other hand, haste! Is a magic! like protect! and shell! Because it stays with me after i casted it for some time, and it speeds by a lot the cooldown of the C.S. but the best is that i think it gives me more speed. Not a lot but enough to be as fast as a wolf. The bad point is that it costs 25 mana, so it isn't profitable right now, as even if it gives more speed to the C.S. i won't have mana to use it.
Anyway i went to study my books and they are really interesting. The magic they use really is a lot more difficult to use, as this really needs effort on my side to imagine what i'm doing, a perfect wand swing, and to learn all the incantations. I'm not that fond of some of the branches of magic like charms, but transfiguration is really interesting, i'm wondering if i can really make myself a wooden rapier on my first year to practice.
