Chapter 48: The Fraud
The next day I woke up and I went directly to the Ravenclaw table on breakfast. There I saw Luna and I sat with her.
Rainy- Luna, thanks for saving me yesterday.
Luna- ?? it was Dumbledore who saved you no?
Rainy- but only you knew how to enter my training room. Not even Harry, Ron or Hermione knows about it... It's quite simple to know that you were the one that told Dumbledore where to find me.
Luna- well, I wouldn't have been of help against the basilisk so when I heard on the morning that you had gone to the chamber after Ginny, talking with the professors were the priority.
Rainy- and I thank you for that.
Luna- did you have a good battle before Dumbledore went there?
Rainy- you bet I did! I fought one of the guys that kidnapped Ginny that was called Juichy and he was really fast. And then the basilisk came and I joined forces with the other one that kidnapped Ginny against the basilisk. It was awesome!
While I was telling this to Luna, I saw her smile more than normal.
Rainy- hey, Luna. Has something good happened to you? You look really happy. I mean, more than normal.
Luna- well, I'm glad that nothing happened on the chamber. I was kind of worried, you know?
Rainy- oh. But I'm awesome, and you know it.
Luna- I was not worried about you, but about Ginny! She's a- well, I know her since we were kids. And she's not as awesome as you when it comes to fight unknown entities.
Rainy- I didn't know you knew Ginny from before... why don't you talk with her?
Luna- I stopped being her friend when my mother died. I said some really rude things to her back then so I'm sure she doesn't want to see me either...
Rainy- but have you apologized about it?
Luna- I thought that she would be better if I don't talk more with her.
Rainy- ugh... and that's why you are a Ravenclaw...(they can't deal that well with friendship...) I'm pretty sure she still thinks you are mad with her for whatever reason... this things are better dealt early on, but now should work. You should talk again with her. She has gone through some bad experiences.
Then I told her about Tom controlling her. And that she's on the hospital wing right now.
Rainy- if you were on her situation, don't you think you would like to see a friend? I can't do anything because I'm just her brother's friend. But you can talk to her more...
Luna-... I see, I didn't know she was being controlled by the heir. But that makes more sense about why would they kidnap her. Okay, I'll go talk to her. Thanks Rainy.
Rainy- you're welcome.
After that, I went to the classes and after the Defense Against the Dark Arts class. Gilderoy told me to wait on his office after the class. Harry looked at me with pity but I knew that there was more than just having to wait to hear a talk about being a celebrity. I saw it in his eyes, he was planing something. So after the class I waited for him with the wand on my lap and my hand on top of it waiting to see what he wanted. Then he came to the office and begun to talk.
Gilderoy- ah... how good must it be your first great and famous action. Being the talk of everyone on the school. But you must not let it go to your head... after all, your great professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts told you everything you needed to know to face the danger.
Rainy- excuse me?
Gilderoy- I'm sorry about having to do this, but this story is just too good to let it go... Obliviate!
To my surprise, he was really good with this spell. To his surprise I had something really ferocious and dangerous in my head. It seems that Ifrit really didn't like what he did and defended my head himself. So Gilderoy couldn't touch it and it seems that whatever he saw on it, scared him more than any basilisk.
Gilderoy- AAAGHH! WHAT WAS THAT!!??
Rainy- ....hehe heheheheh HAHAHAHA!!! did you really think that that would work?? (actually that was dangerous) If I could do what I did, is because I have help... now sir fraud. Would you be so kind to wait here while I talk with Dumbledore about your... situation? Or should I take care of you... myself? It's self-defense...
Gilderoy- G-GET OUT OF HERE! YO-YOU MONSTER!!
Rainy- as you wish...
I casted a petrificus totalus on him, and went to talk with Dumbledore. It seems he was quite aware of him being a fraud, but he didn't expect Gilderoy to try to obliviate a student. He was quite mad with Lockhart and I just left everything to him.
Rainy- hmm... (after what happened I really want to see your aspect, Ifrit. He was terrified, haha)
Ifrit- (you can summon me whenever you want during combat. But you need to use another command called Summon! And I'm the only one you can summon, Odin appears whenever he wants.)
Rainy- hmm, interesting (I'll give it a try later on.)
