Chapter 3: Double Ambush

Sia and Rudy ran as fast as they could to the alley. "AMBUSH!" Sia shouted, but it was too late. While Midnight and a couple others were ambushing the hunters, the rest raided the city. It truly is a city. They just enjoy calling it the alley. Anyway, they ended up smashing many homes, including Hazelnut's and Sia's. The rest was raided of food or other valuables. "Sia!" Vodka cried out, "your home!" Sia ran towards her house. He heart shattered. Her home was completely crushed. Eyes wide, she felt as if time had stopped, like she had been staring at it forever, unable to fix it. "Hey, Sia, are you okay?" Eggs put her paw on her shoulder, "I'm sorry. I couldn't stop the attack. Magic has been failing everywhere throughout Ikati." "It's okay, Eggs. It's not your fault..." Sia replied "Sia!" Sia turned to see Hazelnut, saying, "Help clean up this mess!" "Yes, commander." Sia immediately started clearing away remains of homes. Eggs went to the watchtower to watch out for incoming attacks. Vodka checked our secret food stash. Hazelnut was hissing at everyone. Rudy was searching for any valuables left behind. Everyone was so busy, they forgot about Cow.
