Chapter 2: The beginning
My body felt weirdly uncomfortable like as if I finished a long marathon without any rest or water, after some time I opened my eyes where I realized I was surrounded by darkness no matter where I turn to look. I was not able to see nor hear anything around me.
In hope of finding something else in the deep darkness I turned to look at all directions which I instantly regretted because I found a pair of blue orbs of light, no, eyes looking at me, when I saw those eyes I finally remembered all the previous events which led me to this moment before I fell unconscious and I couldn't help but be scared. I am sure I am sweating buckets but I slowly composed myself, well, at least I tried to compose myself, 'But no matter in what point of view I look at it, this is really scary!!'
Those eyes were looking at me as if her biggest wish is about to be granted and I couldn't help myself but compare those eyes that were filled with expectation to the malicious eyes I saw before I fell unconscious, I was even starting to wonder if what I saw was a mere illusion of my mind.
A long time has already passed until she finally collected herself and after hesitating for a while she finally started talking with the same gentle and sweet voice just like the first moment I met her, I couldn't help but be mesmerized by her once more, so I barely understood what she was talking about.
''You know, since my disappearance happened nearly no one has ever dared to enter this forest, and those few that dared to enter were not even able to see nor hear me, even though I was so lonely and I wouldn't know when I would disappear I still persevered and waited for someone to come and grant my wish.'' She hesitated a while before continuing.
''When I felt I was about to disappear, I happened to sense you and with the last hope I had left in me, I tried talking to you and it worked!'' She exclaimed happily while quickly saying,
''After that, I sensed my life essence was quickly disappearing and acted without thinking and did this to you.'' When she finally said this she looked so sad and lonely that someone could not help but feel an urge to protect her.
''I know I am being selfish but I hope you can accept my apology for this and with what I am about to do to you.'' She said while her eyes looked as firm as it could be and her translucent body reached a hand at the back of my head.
When she touched my head I suddenly remembered all the events that have happened in my entire life, my parent's death, my family fighting for the inheritance, my brother's cold body with a knife in his hand and a relieved smile on his face while lying on the bed and… my sister's crippled body lying on the hospital bed every day, her fake smile when I try to make her happy, her lies when I ask her if said she is okay, and, her crying every day every single night.
After remembering all that I couldn't help but let a few tears out realizing I did not have time to experience the happiness my parents wanted me to have, the freedom my brother longed for, the love my parents shared with each other and an entire family cohabitating with love.
After that, I felt other memories, her memories, Rosalyn's memories. I watched her pampered life, just as I used to be, her life without suffering, her life with happiness, her life with the love of her parents, and I couldn't help but feel jealous while at the same time relieved and other unknown feelings that I was not able to recognize.
After finishing her memories I just stared at her azure eyes that were reflecting sadness and happiness at the same time while slowly disappearing in the darkness. Weirdly, her memories did not include anything about her death.
When her translucent body was about to disappear she whispered something that I was barely able to here. I knew from the tone of her voice that she felt as if a heavy burden has been lifted off her shoulders as if it was a huge rock.
''Thank you.''
After she disappeared I wonder what she did but the darkness around me brightened so suddenly that I felt that my eyes were burning so I closed my eyes until I felt it was okay to open my eyes which I slowly opened I just saw the previous forest while I was lying on the floor and I couldn't help but think if all the things that happened were just a dream until I saw the tomb and I knew it was not a dream.
I slowly tried to stand up only to immediately fall down, I felt my sense of balance was somehow weird, I felt additional weight where it was not supposed to be and I felt that something was not there, slowly reaching my hand I pressed between my hands only to feel… nothing.
I looked towards the sky and I felt that something was waving at me saying goodbye… I will miss you too, my loyal friend. While letting a tear fall on the floor, I changed destinations from the school to return to the house I inherited from my parents.

Mirexx Next chapter should be in two days if there doesn't happen any problem. After all, I still need to do a few tests...
