Chapter 2: Bloodline
Alucard became popular in his very first day at school. Everywhere he go, the rumor was spread throughout the school.
"Hey there mister Pervert, how it feels to get beat up by a girl?" Negative thoughts and laughter is what Alucard gets when he stumbled to his fellow adventurers.
"Yo Alucard dude, you ok? I heard this rumor that an elven girl beat you and called you Pervert. Was that the same girl where you get that hard slap in your cheek?"
Being Alucard's bestfriend, its Grangers responsibility to cheer him up.
"Yeah dude and I didn't expect that she will beat me trice this day, I hope no more beating from her, and I don't want to see her again."
It nearly end Lunchtime, Alucard and Granger pack up their things and went back to their room, unfortunately they saw a young adventurer who was bullying.
"You don't belong here you freak, our guild are totally made for humans like us and not like you with a weird appearance." The young adventurer is still beating really bad.
Alucard give his things to Granger and went to the scene to stop them.
"Hey you brats, what do you think you're doing huh?" Alucard is trying to scare them. "Who the heck are you?" said one of the bullies.
"Hey he's the one who get beaten by an elven girl on this very first day of school" one of the bullies noticed Alucard. "REALLY?" the bullies started to laugh at Alucard.
Alucard is enduring the teasing. Some bullies having fun beating the young adventurer while the rest are laughing at Alucard.
"If you don't stop beating him then.. I will go and suck all your blood!" Alucard stared them very deadly making his eyes red and fangs started to appear.
"RUN! A VAMPIRE!" The bullies scream like a baby and run for theur lives. "That should stop them for good." Alucard returned to normal and carried the unconscious young adventurer to infirmary.
"That idiot, he doesn't really know how to control himself. He really don't want others being hurt. The only one who has a good heart in their Bloodline." said Granger while following Alucard with a smile on his face.
...
"W-Where am I?" the young adventurer regain his consciousness. "You finally awake." Alucard greet him with a smile. "What just happened?" the young adventurer doesn't remember.
"Well you see, you've being bullied and this idiot helped you." Granger replied. "How come I became an idiot!?" Granger Laughed.
"Thank you mister! I'm greatly in debt with you!" the young adventurer bowed down to Alucard to appreciate his thanks.
"No need to be formal kid, I just can't stand seeing others being hurt. By the way I'm Alucard and this idiot, he's called Granger." Alucard grin at Granger after giving an introduction.
"Hahahaha!" the young adventurer laugh at them as they joking around.
"I'm Harith, pleased to meet you Alucard, Granger!" Harith give them a big smile making the two smile also.
...
"All rookie adventurers, please proceed to the field, your respective guild headmaster will give you something very important for your Adventurer Life. I repeat.." Another announcement came from a Large Horn.
All 1st year Adventurers have assembled in the field and each guild has this giant statue that looks like a wizard.
"Hello again to my fellow students, today I will activate this Emblem Matrix for you to receive your own respective Emblems. Emblems are the ones who will grant you a weapon suitable to you which makes you stronger in your current state. This also applies to those have different Bloodline. Now then I invite you to step forward in the Emblem Matrix to receive your Emblem." King Estes activated the Emblem Matrix and each one of us in the guild step forward towards the Matrix.
'Name: Alucard..
Race: Half-Human Half-Vampire..
Weapon: Sword..
Begin making..'
"So that's it my fellow students, starting tomorrow we will all have some test run in your Emblems. You may all now dismiss." King Estes' final word of the day.
"Hey Alucard how's the Emblem Matrix?" Granger asked. "Seems a bit weird for a statue with a hightech system." said Alucard while scratching his head.
"I receive the Marksman Emblem which gives me a gun" Granger pointed his Emblem to Alucard. "Wow a gun, the Matrix really do its job after all you're good at aiming. Well mine is an Assassin Type and I receive a sword."
"A sword? I expect that you receive a Grimoire, afterall Vampires use magic not swords." said Granger. "Well I use magic but not for attacking but to buff myself, so I'm more a physical melee type vampire." Granger finally understand.
The both of them went home together and depart in a separate ways. In Alucard's way home, he suddenly feel uneasy. A strange black fog appears infront of him and a strange creature appeared in that fog.
Alucard shocked. "Who are you and What are you?" The creature went close at him and said "I'm your worst nightmare."
The creature slashed Alucard. "Uggh!" Alucard receive a big wound in that attack and lots of blood dripping.
"Getting scared right now lad? Do you wa..." the creature stop to his words. "I-Impossible! Your wound is being healed up to quickly." The creature greatly shocked.
Alucard stood up and make a grin on his face and looked at the creature. "W-W-WHAT?! A V-V-VAMPIRE!?" the creature saw his red eyes and vampire fangs.
The creature creates another black fog and disappear alongside of it. "This is the 2nd time I use my vampire form. I should be careful not other see me. Never mind the brats earlier, I removed their memory about me."
Somewhere near the scene, a shadowy figure was quickly get away as Alucard went home. "I hope that person doesn't spread the things he saw back there."
Alucard actually notice two presence, the mysterious creature and a mysterious bystander.
