Chapter 3: Happily injured
I came home after a long day at school . It was nice to meet new people and talk with them but ....the studies are still as tough and tiring as ever . Grandma was sleeping and grandpa was reading newspaper in our lawn .
My room was on first floor . I started climbing the stairs and just when I was about to reach the top of the staircase ...I slipped and started falling down the stairs . The last thing I remember was a sharp pain in my left hand ...and then....I fainted .
When I opened my eyes I was in the hospital with a bandage on my head and a plaster on my left hand . I tried to get up but my back pain resisted me from moving .
Just then my grandpa and a doctor came inside my room .
~"Alas !!...you are awake ....you scared me to death ananya !!!...you are so clumsy...I have told your grandma to shift your stuff in a room on ground floor . The injury is not very serious but your doctor said that you would need to have bed rest for a week to recover completely.."
~"One week!!!!....but grandpa ...I have just joined my school ...it would be really hard for me to cover up ...also I have a class test after two weeks.."
~"listen sweetheart ...you have a minor fracture on your left hand ...and you are a leftie ...if you don't recover completely I doubt that even if you attend your class you won't be able to give your test...so it's better for you to recover first.."
I sighed . After I got discharged I went home and called Aashia ....we exchanged our numbers after our classes were over .
~"hello..??...Aashia??"
~"hey ananya...um...are you okay??...you sound kinda low.."
~"I um...actually I had a small accident ...and I ...I injured my left hand so I won't be able to come to school for a week.."
~" What!!!!...How??...are you ok??..I hope its not very serious..."
~" Nah..not very serious but still...I need a week to recover . But...I am really worried...about my classes . How would I be able to cover up all my lessons....??"
~"Don't worry about that...we have special sessions for students like you who are not able to attend classes due to some reason or who have doubts in some chapters...you can come with me to those classes ...so just take a rest..."
~"thanks a lot Aashia ...you really solved a big problem...I can finally feel relaxed..."
~"Your welcome miss...by the way I think you could also meet that blue eyes person there ...only if you want to...he is one of the best teacher there . Um...listen I have to go...talk to you later...bye"
~"Byee"
...Blue eyes...I don't know why ...but...I am kinda ...excited about meeting him...
I think I would get injured happily...if it helps me meet him for once...
I don't know why do I have this feeling .
