Chapter 10: shocking surprise
After 2 days the results were out...we all were really scared to look at the result...the results were displayed on school's main notice board...every minute nearly hundred of students were joining the crowd in front of the board to check their result...me , Aashia and Isha rushed into the crowd to see our results...
~"can you find your name...ananya..?? "
Aashia shouted...
~"I can ....hardly....Huff...breath in between this....crowd....!!"
I replied , while trying to not get crushed underneath the crowd...
~"HEY..!!..LOOK..!!..I found my name...!!...Ananya ...Aashia..!!..I passed...and apparently with good marks in physics..!!"
I smiled at her and continued looking for my name...after nearly 10 minutes of struggle I finally quitted and came away from the crowd to catch my breath...
~"Huff...my god..!!..it's impossible to find anyone's name in this way...I think I would just wait till the crowd gets lighter.."
~"okay...let's go...but ...where is Aashia...??"
Me and Isha both started to search for Aashia in the crowd ...when...
~"ANANYA..!!!...ANANYA..!! ..come here....fast..!!!!"
I saw Aashia jumping in between the crowd , waving her hand at me...I rushed into the crowd to reach her....as soon as I got to her...she grabbed my hand and rushed me closer to the board...
~"Aashia...wa-it...slow-ly.."
As soon as we reached near the notice board...she pointed out ...my name on the board...!!
I saw my result and ....my jaw dropped ...
I ranked fifth in my overall result ...!!...and I ranked first ...in physics !!..
Between 10,000 students I scored maximum marks in physics..!!!...I was in tears..!!
We came away from the crowd and I hugged Aashia tightly...
~"You did it ananya..!!"
Aashia whispered in my ear ...I never felt this happy...it was hard to decide what made me happier...
scoring good marks..??
having two such amazing friends who truly are happy for my success..??
or...because at the back of my head I was imagining a person with blue eyes smiling at me and saying I'm proud of you..!!
This was one of the most amazing moments of my life...and I knew I am gonna say this line again soon...maybe you all know it too ...right.??...
