Chapter 3: I Finally Found You
Kai's P.O.V
"Here you go" said Miss Yumeko as she handed me the book
"Well then go back to your seat and let's start the class" Miss Yumeko added
I kept thinking about Jay's necklace as I walked to my chair...could he be..?or is it just me?
Flashback
School was finished for the day and as usual I decided to walk at the park just like always but then I noticed a boy crying behind the old tree thats right beside the swings
I wonder what's wrong? I thought as I decided to approach the boy
"Uhmm..hey..what's wrong?" I asked as the boy looked at me tears covering their eyes
"Here" I said handling him my handkerchief
"T-thanks" the boy replied as I saw him wipe his tears
"So..uhh...I'm Kai..what's yours? " I asked as I gave him a smile
"J-jay.." he whispered
"Nice to meet you jay...wanna be friends?" I extended my arm
"Hn.." he nodded as he grabbed my arm
"So..why were you crying?" I asked as I sat beside him
"Well..my piano instructor scolded me again...so..I...I ran away..." he replied
"Woah...you have a piano instructor!?that's awesome! Well Except for the scolding part but still!" I replied
"You think so...?" Jay asked
"Yeah! Not many kids know how to play the piano and can afford a piano instructor" I replied with Excitement in my eyes as I then noticed Jay laughing
"What's so funny?" I asked tilting my head in confusion
"You're weird" Jay replied
"Oh ehe..yeah..kinda get that a lot...sorry.." I replied as I scratched my head
"No! No! I mean I like it..its good kind of weird" Jay smiled
"R-really..?" I felt my cheeks get warmer as I looked at Jay
"Yeah!"Jay smiled
End of Flashback
I shook my head as I remembered our childhood no..it can't be him.. Jay wouldn't be a snob I though as I sat on my chair
"Now where was I..oh yes..class turn your books to page 4" said Miss Yumeko
I know I should be paying attention but I just cant shake my mind of it..if...if he really is Jay..what happened to him...? What made him like this?
I was lost in my thoughts and by the time I noticed..Miss Yumeko has already dismissed the class..
Ugh...whats wrong with me!? I thought as I waited for our next instructor to show up
A few hours later
The day flew by so fast...that it was already time to clean the classroom and go home...but as I looked around I noticed that everyone was already gone...figures..I'm the last one..I thought as went to back to get a broom but then noticed Jay sleeping w-what the!? I thought why is he still sleeping!? Calm down Kai! Calm down! I took a deep breath
Should I ask him about the necklace? Or perhaps its just a coincidence that we have the same necklace? No..for now I need to wake him up I sighed as I approached Jay
"Uhm...excuse me...hello can you please wake up?" I poked his back but it didn't seem to work
"Excuse me! Hello can you here me? Hello!" I said a bit louder
"What time is it?" Jay asked unconsciously
"its already 4:30" I replied when suddenly Jay grabbed my shirt's collar and pulled me
"Where did you get that necklace!?" Jay shouted
I didnt know what to do..I was panicking
"where did you get that necklace!? Don't make me asked again!!" Jay demanded
"I-its a g-gift" I replied
"from whom!?" Jay pulled me closer hurting me in the process
"I-its from m-my childhood f-friend" I replied as I struggled from his hold when suddenly his phone rang
"Tsk!" he clicked his tongue and pushed me away "whatever" he then said as he picked up his phone
"Yes?" Jay answered with a pissed tone
"Yeah yeah yeah..I'm coming!" He yelled as he looked back at me and gave me the death glare "touch me again and I'll kill you" he then added as he grabbed his bag and slammed the door
I fell on my knees as I felt my tears running down my cheeks "why....Jay...if you are the Jay I know...Why..." I said as I punched the floor "my chest...it hurts..I hate this..." I continued as tears kept running down my face
