Chapter 3: First Day On Exertia
As I traveled towards the place where I would now begin my new life I quickly noticed a planet,in fact it was the most biggest planet I had ever witnessed in both my past life and this. Suddenly information was rushed inside of my head regarding the details of this planet, and my background god had given me in this new world.
My name was Derrick West III just as my previous life, I was the son of Earl West and my mother Lisa West and surprisingly my father was a Duke which means I was born in a house of nobility. Like God had explained before I left, Authority was what set you apart from everyone else and since I was born as the son of a duke my authority is expected to be great and on a child's 15th birthday that is the day their authority is tested. Other than that I was able to learn that this planet God finished creating is named Exertia and has been around for only 97 thousand years, but if this is true then that means that the growth of this world is extremely fast as modern technology from earth could be developed here in only a few hundred thousand years!.
I also figured that since their is a thing such as nobility in this world then that means their has to be a king or queen in this world, so their has to be a system of monarchy in this world which I might change in the future depending on if it's corrupted or not but I'll wait until I've enjoyed life here first. Minutes passed and now I was reaching the body of my 15 year old self, I still had my same curly black hair and deep blue eyes with that perfect jawline and seemed to still be 6'3 in height. I entered my body, opening my eyes I could finally see things through my own eyes and actually feel things but when I looked around the place I just woke up in it seemed like it was my bedroom but incredibly big. I suddenly felt the urge to say system and following that urge I then said "Status" out loud which then brought out some type of staus window in my head which looked like a status window you would see out of a video game.

"Just wanted to tell you to enjoy your life in this world and don't over work yourself by trying to kill your brother, just remember you have till the literal end of time. Oh and another thing, you can press the reply button below this message in order to contact me and I've also added your own personal store in your mind that you can use to buy anything. You'll have access to this once you unlock your authority tomorrow, Bye." - From God
Knowing that I'd have to wait until tomorrow to get my authority made me feel slightly disappointed but I brushed it off and left my bedroom to walk towards our mansions personal library. Knowing everything about this house I knew that no one was here right now and weren't going to be home until later tonight as my parents both had work to do, so taking this chance I started to try and find some more in depth information about how life was here. I eventually found a book that told the complete history of this world. In the beginning all the races fought each other for land, food, money, etc, but no one could overcome the other until a man named Arthur Armstrong of the human race rose in power and proposed a new way to settle this war without any more casualties. He proposed that their should be a tournament held between every race that would last for 20 days straight, he also implemented a betting system so they could fight for whatever they wanted whether it was food,land,money or anything else it didn't matter. The rules were that the 2 opposing sides would pick their 10 best warriors to fight the other team or in special cases you could choose one fighter for each side and have a one on one fight to the death. (Sorry I hadn't known I written all this^)
With Arthur's power being feared throughout the whole world their was nothing anyone could do but follow this new way of deciding things. Finally the races were separated from each other and with the constant rise of technology their also came more opportunities for people to rise in power with a job of their choosing depending on their authorities ability.
After aquiring simple backgrond knowledge of this world I then moved onto the math, reading, languages part of the world which was easily learned due to my ability. But while learning I noticed this world's knowledge was the same as modern earth's knowledge but with a few advancements in technology compared to earth, and as a former businessman on Earth I could definitely become rich in probably 3 years but I'll handle that later. I took some time to explore the house but besides a lot of floating cars in the garage their really wasn't anything out of the ordinary so I went outside of my house and noticed 2 men who I guessed were guards standing outside my gate.
I approached them.....
"Hi" -Derrick
"Good Morning Young Master Derrick, did you sleep well" - Guard #1
" Yes I did actually, anyways I'll be heading back inside please notify me when my parents arrive." -Derrick
"Understood Sir" Guard #1
As I walked away unknown to me, the guards stared to speak about my earlier interaction with them.
"Hey Fredrick, young master was talking more polite than usual. I wonder if he's starting to change his ways now." -Guard #1
" I do hope so Lucus, his father will be very happy"
"Yes, he sure will" -Lucus
It was only around 11 in the morning but with nothing else to do I decided to control time for a whole hour. I did some testing and found out I could turn back time to the previous day and do the same when gong into the future, with controlling time obviously came the abilty to stop it as well. I also found a new way. to use this ability, If I touched somebody or a object I could make them younger or age quicker which would definitely be effective in battle if I get the chance to touch them. I also controlled time and made it so it's now 9 hours ahead from now so it's now 10PM so my parents should be here any minute.
Suddenly the guard I met before who was guarding the front of my house opened my door to notify me that my mother and father is now here. When I arrived to the front door I saw 2 people, a man with black raven hair who stood at 6'4, and a beautiful woman with blue eyes and the same black hair as my father.
"Hey Mom, Dad"- Derriick
"How was your day today son?" -Earl(His father)
Before I could reply my mother suddenly gave me a big hug while pulling me off the ground which kind of made me feel weak deep inside but then information on her came to my mom, telling me that her authorities power was " Unrivaled Strength"
"Ohh my baby, I was so bored without you today"- Liss
"I missed you too he he but umm could you put me down it's embarrassing" -Derrick
"He he, sorry honey I sometimes forget you aren't a baby anymore"- Lisa
"Anywas, are you ready for tomorrow Derrick?, it's an important day that will determine your future." -Earl
"Yes I'm ready, acually I'm excited"- Derrick
"Good, me and your mother have more work to do but get a good night's rest and I'll see you in the morning"- Earl
After meeting with my parents I'm satisfied and I make my way back into my room to sleep. I don't know what will happen from this day forward but I'll enjoy it to the fullest, and with that being said I fell asleep anticipating what would come tomorrow.
