The rain hid my tears rolling out on cheeks. Bhargav's hands were full of blood. I fell on my knees. Harini ran towards us.
I smiled and said, "Nothing! I'm okay."
My mom was in his arms bleeding.
"She's dead," Bhargav said, sobbing.
"Mom," I shouted.
I called her several times but, she wasn't getting up.
"Look! I called you, Mom."
"Get up, Mom."
I took her in my arms and screamed, "Mom!"
"Talk to me until it's too late, Ragh," I heard my mom's words.
"Talk to me, Mom."
"I'm sorry!"
"I was stupid!"
"Please, talk to me once."
Harini kept her one hand on my shoulder; wiped my tears.
"She's no more," she said.
"STFU!"
It startled her.
"She's here with us," I exclaimed.
The moment where I fell from the cliff, I squealed at my mom to talk once. Ocean dipped me inside, and the water started pulling me down. When I opened my eyes, I saw mom coming towards me. She held my hand and took me deeper and deeper. When I asked her where we were heading, she turned smiling and speeded her motion.
"Talk to me," mom said.
When I opened my mouth, water went inside me. I lost my control in the breath, and tried to go up but, it was too late for me as it was pulling me to death. All of a sudden, I heard Bhargav calling my name in the ocean, and it was very low.
"Raghav!"
I even heard Harini's voice but, couldn't open my eyes and look. My back felt something soft. When my eyes opened its sight, I saw a doctor injecting me something. It made me feel nauseous. I lose my conscious again and saw mom waiting for my voice to hear in the darkness. When I was in a halfway pronouncing mom, she got disappeared from my eyes; from my imagination. My fingers touched her face as soon as I saw her again but, I didn't feel any sense. She wiped my tears and told me to stay strong.
"I love you," she said.
"I..,"
I found myself conscious and opened my eyes; I saw everyone surrounded me wiping their tears with a smile. Bhargav was in front of them.
I called his ears and whispered, "Where is my mom, Bhargav?"
He held my hand and answered, "You need rest."
My energy got decreased when I screamed at him. I could barely lift me from the bed.
"Doctor said that you have no energy," Prachi's dad said.
"Uncle," I called in a weak voice.
My eyes weren't opening completely. I closed it, and suddenly, the accident opened my eyes.
"Mom," I shouted and woke up.
I grabbed Bhargav's collar and warned him to take me to my mom. He avoided the eye-contact with me.
"Why don't you talk to me? Bastard!" I screamed.
"Look at me! Look at me!" I frowned.
"Ragh... I... Wh..Why don't you take rest?" he stammered.
"Fuck that rest! Where is she?" I asked as I removed whatever attached to my body and rushed out of the room.
As soon as I stepped a few towards the next door, I fell down.
"Mom."
"Mom."
"Mom," I was continuously calling her.
"What are you doing on the floor, Ragh?" I heard Prachi's voice.
I saw her bare feet beside me; I looked up at her.
"Ragh, we're leaving. Will you join us?"
"Where?" I hummed.
"Raghav! Raghav! What is wrong with you?" Bhargav asked as he took me on his shoulder.
"Prachi came into consciousness," I muttered.
"The hell? She is on her bed. Stop joking around," He laid me on the bed.
"Then where they are heading?" I asked.
"Who are they?" He yelled.
Before I speak something, I saw a doctor injecting me again. I tried to pull my hands away but, Bhargav kissed my forehead and whispered, "Nothing happened," He smiled.
"Wha-yy aa-I see-e tea-arz in..."
