Chapter 7: Roaring Thunder::Chapter 7
The dragon rounded spewing flaming poison mucus. Incandescent blue exploded into plate armor rupturing internal organs while gouging molten death around. The knights back stepped. "Lock shields" ordered their captain. Knights unused to coordinated attacks hastily formed together. Overlapping their shields while the archers and mages bombarded from the protected area. "Rescue The Heroes!!" Their captain shouted.
Gwen woke with a start her heart racing. What was that?!? When did she ever dream of such a thing?!? It must have been from that penalty round six months ago. It had taken that long to make it back to Captain rank. Only the strange thing was her online account was upgraded to Super Premium from a free basic account.
Her cell beeped it was Anneliese and Ariana her two best friends. Anneliese was a truthsayer and only able to speak the truth. Ariana triple checked all those facts. Together they were the student council of their high school. "Did you see the news? The Pres wall is going up for sale." Ariana said. "Yeah, since CANUS became so strong and those countries south of the wall want to join us too." Anneliese peeped. "It's just too bad they can't speak the King's English or they might have a shot. Anyway let's meet in game to plan out our next strategy."
Gwen hung up and went to the kitchen to grab a quick snack. Her grandma was there feeding her grandpa rice and dinuguan. She recalled how he tricked her as a small child telling her the dinuguan was hot chocolate pudding. Gwen took a couple of siopao that we're in the steamer. She savored the sweet spicy pork while helping herself to a pitcher of guava juice.
"Gwen not before dinner." Admonished her grandma. "Lechon, lechon" her grandpa said opening his mouth wide.
