Chapter 2: The Opening Ceremony
I try to continue on with the rest of my day after that weird and somehow uncanny encounter. As I entered my university, everything seemed fine. There are a lot of banners hanging around welcoming people like me, a new freshman in college. There were a lot of seniors going around asking for people to join their clubs which reminded me of my times back in high school.
As all the fun was going on, someone suddenly interrupted the music playing and spoke with a really deep and firm tone. "Good day to our new batch of college freshmen. My name is Francisco Rodriguez and I am the Dean of this university. As the Dean, I would like to welcome you all to our beloved university and we hope to form a strong bond with you. Please enjoy your time with us here. And now, I will pass on the microphone and the podium on the representative of the batch and a fellow college freshman to you, Rose Sanchez."
As I saw the batch representative, the only words that came to my mind were, 'Oh great. Hi miss psychopath.' Now that I actually see her face, she really is a beauty. I couldn't notice her beauty because she put me on a headlock then suddenly ran away like nothing happened. As she spoke as the representative, I was pretty amazed by her confidence speaking in front of a crowd.
By the time she ended her speech, almost every male freshman was so astonished by her beauty. I, on the other hand, couldn't help but think of her as a psychopath because of our first encounter earlier today. "Crazy psycho." I didn't realize I suddenly voiced out the thought in my head and some guys heard me and now I realized I've made myself almost an enemy for them.
First and second encounter with this girl are both bummers. I think every time I see her from now on out inside and outside the campus, I will think of her just putting me into a headlock out of nowhere for no reason at all, at least not that I know about, and just suddenly running away like nothing happened. I guess I'll just not mind her and try not to bump into her or anything of that sort cause in my head, she is still a psychopath with great communicative skills.
