But no matter how boring she thought her death had been, it did not change the fact that it was a very painful death.
Her limbs were crushed, her blood was splattered, and her bones were broken. Before dying, Camila faintly saw her family members crowd around her. They're screams and cries piercing through the fateful night.
Camila's mother stood there in shock and horror, Harper ran towards Camila's body screaming. And her father quickly called the ambulance. The two twin brothers who were previously energetic and playful, slowly walked out the front door to this tragic scene.
Everyone was in shock.
But Camila however, was strangely calm. She didn't feel any guilt, regret, or denial, that one might feel when experiencing a early death. She didn't have any of thoughts toward spending more time with her family like she expected.
Strangely, her last thoughts were actually about that book she found.
But it wasn't a very long thought because she soon died.

But Camila, much to her surprise, woke up.She opened up her eyes to find that she was in a ominous void. There was nothing in sight, only a deep darkness.

Camila closed her eyes and with deep breath, floated there. She stayed like that for seconds, minutes, hours, or days. She couldn't tell. All she knew is that this...Place was where she was meant to be.
But she was soon thrown from the comfortable darkness, and brought into the light.
Shocked, Camila sat there, slowly absorbing the scene before her.
