Chapter 2: The brave kid... Chapter 2 This a story of a young boy called Raju. Raju was an intelligent but naughty boy. He would knock his neighbor's door and run away.
Our story revolves around a young and playful lad called Raju. Raju was famous for his mischiefs and at the same time also for his intelligence too. He would lock his neighbour's doors from outside and trouble them and he would also help a person in need on the other hand. His neighbor would sometimes complain about him and at the same time people would appreciate him for helping the needy.
Once it so happened that his neighbor Nila aunty had gone out of station. Unaware of the fact, Raju thought of ringing the bell and then running away. But when he rang the bell, it did not ring, so Raju leaned closer to the door to hear Nila aunty's voice but to his surprise he found two men whispering. Then he said to himself that i should get inside the house to check with Nila aunty. To his surprise he saw that the door had a lock. He wondered who were the men inside the house. So he decided to find out who the men were. He went to the ground near the building and hid behind a tree, to keep a close tab on people who got in and out of the building.
After some time he saw two men getting down from the window and jumping on the ground. He straight away ran to the nearby police station and narrated the whole incident. The police assured him of necessary action and asked him to go back to his home.
As the sun set, evening turned to night, Raju could not sleep as the sight of the two robbers had terrified him.
It was 11pm at night, the society was silent. The two men got into Nila aunty's house and began to steal all the valuables, money and got down from the window. Before they could even step their foot on the ground, the police caught them red handed. After the arrest was made raju appeared along with Nila aunty and other members of the building. Everyone appreciated Raju for his alertness and prompt action.
Moral: One should try to be observant.
