When Lia heard the click from the door on the opposite side of the room she turned her head towards the door. Slowly the door opened up to relieve the person behind the door. It was none other than their school's CEO Oberoi....
"Ah, Lia... A very good morning... I'm so glad that you are finally awake. I was starting to get worried. Thought you just ditched us.. "
Mr. Oberoi said in a flat but mischivous tone.
Lia was stunned to see the person and was in deep thought about how much trouble they were in for the CEO to show up in person.
' Did that weird crystal rock caused some ruckus ?
Was the CEO going to expel them from school??
Has management already informed their parents about it ??? '
As Lia's mind was running with these questions the CEO entered the room along with another figure.
Mr. Oberoi sat on the edge of the bed all the while studying Lia serious complicated facial expressions with an amused smile.
Mr. Oberoi was a man in his early thirties who was understanding and reasonable. He supported the students in every aspect , many students achieved great goals under his mentoring. He wasn't stiff or not someone who would go around carrying whip..... He was flexible....
As long as it was not something that would cause harm to someone both physically or mentally.... He would personally suggest trouble -making ideas to them. Due to his mischivous personality paired with the fact that all his hand -picked geniuses were gifted trouble makers their school never had a boring day.
Everyday the students would anxiously waiting for what new trouble their fellow mates will cause to entertain them.
As for the teachers, well that was a whole different story. The teachers would carry their heart in their hands coz the teachers were both victims and pawns in the act.. The situation was so dare that even the teacher's dorms were not safe....
Thus even if the teachers wanted to punish them for their acts they could get out of the pinch by selling him out also that certain teacher would sure be the student's next target....
Well this was one side of the coin on the other if you manage to get to his bad sad he can destroy you... Mr. Oberoi was an extremely tolerant man because he understood student psychology well... As long as his students didn't do anything that was unethical or immoral, he was fine with it.. But if any student was found in the said acts he would be their worst nightmare.
Lia along with her gang was Mr. Oberoi's biggest achievement . Trouble maker as they were a pack to geniuses they are. Each in their own favorite field.
Nurturing them and helping them blossom was the greatest challenge for him. But he excepted it and so far things we're far better than he could have imagined.
"Lia !! Lia!! "
After calling her name twice was Mr. Oberoi actually able get Lia out of her thought process.
Lia gulped several time in mere second not being able to get the lump if fear that has been stuck in throat down.
" Mr . Oberoi ,Sir how much trouble did we cause last night ? "... Lia asked in timid and fearful tone
Upon hearing Lia fearful voice Mr. Oberoi laughed heartily and said again in a mischievous tone .
"Hmm, really Lia how much trouble have you caused???
How much... hmm..
Well I hope it's worth treating me to McDonald's ... You guys have always stood me up on this... Today I'll have my vengeance... HaHaHa... "
'That's it, I seriously don't understand this man's thought process ... I still haven't gotten myself use to this man's out of the world human language . ' Lia thought resisting the urge to rebuke at him...
"Mr. Oberoi , you are the worst weirdo that ever existed in this world .
Seeing you here personally made my soul to almost leave me, my heart was about to jump out...
I was out of my wits.... and all you can think of is McDonald..... "As much as Lia hated his mischievous personality ... worst the messing she got from him and he enjoyed it thoroughly..
"Me weirdo...
Worst...
No McDonald ...
LIA CHATERJEE !!! I COME HERE WISH YOU A GOOD MORNING .... TRY TO LIGHTEN YOUR MOOD .... FOR WHICH I DON'T EVEN GET APPRECIATED ..... YOU DON'T WANT TO TREAT ME TO MCDONALDS .... AND YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO CALL ME WEIRDO AND WORST.... !!!! "
****Danger alert *****
Saying his piece of mind Mr. Oberoi huffed and sat on the nearby coffee table which gave it's way instantly making Mr. Oberoi land hard on his butt...
Mr. Oberoi was stunned for a moment but quickly recovered and realized what happened to him....
Lia covered her mouth to suppress her laughter while stealing a few peeks on him.
At that moment just by looking at the face of Mr. Oberoi one could see red hot steam coming from his nostrils and ears.. the sight was something like a pressure cooker on full steam.
" THE NERVE OF YOU PEOPLE !!!!
FINE!!!
I'LL HAVE MY DAY!!!! "
After this Mr. Oberoi tried to get up rubbing his butt.
" Not in this lifetime if you act as a hooligan " said a deep calm voice.
Mr. Oberoi opened and closed his mouth like a gold fish gulping out of water but couldn't come up with a comeback while looking at the person remembering they had company.
When Lia heard the words she startled and quickly turned her attention towards the wall of the room to which the bed was placed.
This was the first time Lia noticed that she wasn't alone with Mr. Oberoi .
The owner of the words was a man in his early fifties. From his outfit it was easy to guess that he must be a nun of some church.
His facial features and expression gave a superior vibe. By the looks of things one could say that Mr. Oberoi and this man was well acquainted.
Knowing he was at a disadvantage Mr. Oberoi decided not dig his grave further and pretended that he didn't hear him.
On seeing that Mr . Oberoi choose to ignore him the man said with a sneered smile .
" Never in this lifetime of mine did I imagine that there would be a day that I will witness the player being played by his students no less. At least I know they learned from the best"
Mr. Oberoi was fuming in rage but he was unable to return the insult knowing when it's best to just endure with it...
" THAT'S ENOUGH ALREADY.....
DON'T HAVE TO RUB SOMUCH SALT IN MY WOUNDS ....YOU DEVIL ".
