Chapter 5: The Dream and The Timeskip
{ Third Person POV }
Issei: " Where am I and what is this place" Issei nervously spoke as he was in an unknown place which looked like a void
Issei looked around himself and just saw an endless void but if he looked more carefully he could have saw a shimmer of something red .
???: "Interesting young one" A unknown but deep voice boomed across the void which surprised Issei as he had a clear idea of what was happening.
Issei: "Where are you?" As soon as he said that a red light was shown behind Issei in the shape of a dragon.
???: "I'm right here, behind you" A deep and masculine voice was heard behind Issei which gave Issei a scare as it surprised him. Issei looked around and saw a huge red western dragon with a long neck and green eyes with red and golden spikes throughout his body.
Issei: "Who are you" Issei asked the red dragon even though he already knows who is but to avoid suspicion he asks the dragon as he is a normal human and should not know about who the dragon is.
???: I am Ddraig, one of the Heavenly Dragons, the Red Dragon Emperor"
Ddraig: "You are an interesting child, little one. To think that you are able to see me in your dreams at such an you age shows that you have huge potential and by the strength of your body, I guess that your going to be able to unlock the sacred gear in about a year." Ddraig was interested and surprised by Issei in front of him as Issei was one of the few that could or have unlocked the sacred gear at such a young age and the youngest person he ever saw unlocking the sacred gear was Belzard and he only unlocked it at the age of 7.
Issei: "So I was right that I'm that close to unlocking the sacred gear" Issei was happy that he is close to unlocking the sacred gear as he had been waiting for a long time to unlock it.
Ddraig: "Ho, so you know about sacred gears but please do tell how did you come to know about sacred gears when you haven't been close to anything supernatural in all your life"
Issei: 'So he knows the memories of this life but I'm glad he doesn't have the memories of my previous life. Maybe the deity who reincarnated me here protected my memories from my previous life but not this life but what should I explain to him.' Issei thought to himself as he was surprised that Ddraig knew everything about his current life.
Issei: "Can you read my mind or seen my memories" Issei asked him before he answered Ddraig's question as he was curious if his privacy was disturbed.
Ddraig: "I can but I don't as it would be invasion against my host's privacy which one of my previous host complained about."
Issei: "Then how did you know that I haven't been near any supernatural beings or read any books about them."
Ddraig: "Well I didn't sense any supernatural beings around you who could have contacted you and also I know you didn't read anything related to the supernatural as the books includes traces of magic."
Ddraig: "Anyways how did you know about me and the sacred gear without anyone telling you. You also seem intelligent for someone your age."
Issei: 'Should I tell him or not. Let's see, if I lie then he may catch on and will worsen the relationship between us as I need him to get stronger and if I tell him the truth then it could make our relationship better and also I wouldn't have to hide about the reincarnation as he is going to be with me for 24 hours a day which would be better if I tell him the truth.' Issei thought of the pro and cons of telling Ddraig and not telling him and decided what to do.
Issei: 'Fuck it, I'll tell him as it's going to be too troublesome in the future if I try to hide it and I make come to see him as a friend in the future so it might ruin the friendship that we may have.'
Issei: "Well, you see I am not from this world as I seem to be reincarnated into this world."
Ddraig: "Is there anything else I might like to know"
Issei: "There is something else but I don't think you would like to know about that as it may make you depressed. Also I have some common knowledge of this world such as that there is beings such as devils, fallen angels and dragons. I know about that there is sacred gear and I have the boosted gear that could double my power temporarily."
Ddraig: "Something that may make me depressed eh, I'll trust you to that and not enquire about it. So you just have the basic knowledge about this world."
Issei: "Yeah"
Ddraig: "May I ask you why do you work so hard in getting stronger." Ddraig asked a important question to Issei as he was curious for his reasoning for becoming stronger just like he asked many other hosts.
Issei: "Well I want to reach the top of this world to have true freedom as I don't want to be bound by the strong and also too protect my loved ones from anyone who may come to harm them." Issei gave his reasoning as he didn't want anyone bossing him around because he is weaker as in his previous world he was not at the top of the ladder and people had authority over him. He also wanted to protect his family and friends from any stronger beings that may come to harm them.
Ddraig: "I see, so to reach the top and acquire freedom to do anything you want which is just like a dragon and also dragons are protective of their loved ones"
Issei: "Yeah but I have a long way till I reach the top"
Ddraig: "How about I do a slight modification to your body to allow you to do more intense exercise to get stronger without stunting your growth or damaging your body."
Issei: "Can you really" Issei spoke excitedly as he was tired of stop doing hard exercise as his body couldn't handle it and could affect his growth and now he can finally start doing intense exercise without worrying about his body. To answer Issei's question Ddraig just nodded his head.
Ddraig: "Alright Issei I'll be doing the modification now so you'll go unconscious right now.
As soon as Ddraig had said that Issei felt his vision becoming blurry and his head feeling heavy but before he could go unconscious he heard Ddraig say something.
Ddraig: You have good ambition Issei but remember not to stray from the correct path you have created. Should you follow your path and not let greed and thirst for power control you then you shall prosper like no other Red Dragon Emperor but should you stray and let power control you then you shall follow with the rest before you."
Just after Ddraig had finished with his words, Issei went unconscious which was weird as it seemed like it was perfectly timed.
[Timeskip- The next morning]
Issei: "What!" Issei shouted as his body suddenly jerked up but luckily Issei's voice wasn't loud enough to wake his parents up as they would have woken up and be worried about his scream.
Issei: "So I finally meet Ddraig and the last words he just said makes me wonder if I'll ever change due to power. Hopefully I won't but now is not the time to think about this. I should get changed and eat something as the modification he did took a lot out of me."
Issei got out of his bed but felt his body ache and his muscles felt soar.
Issei: "Aah, my body aches and my muscles feel sore. It must have been due to the modification."
Issei got washed up and fortunately he didn't have to go to school today as it was the weekend otherwise he would have had to go to school with an aching body unless he came up with an excuse for not going.
Issei decided to rest instead of doing training straight away as he has to have a healthy mind to have a healthy body. He decided to just watch TV which had the show Drag-So-Ball which was a parody of the original Dragon Ball but was eerily similar to the original so he decided to watch it to pass time.
[ Timeskip-1 Year Later ]
{ Issei's POV }
It has been one year since I have been training intensely. I included more intense version of my workout but also included new workouts such as Burpees. Instead of running around my garden, I sprinted around the garden at maximum speeds which was quite fast until I got tired. I also trained in my flexibility as it is important in battle since being agile could be a advantage against opponents who are not. My stamina has increased dramatically since I started running as I could sprint around the garden at full speeds for around 5 minutes which was physically impossible for a human let alone a child. I told my mother that I'm going to be taking showers by my self as they would be able to see the muscles and abs slowly forming to which my mother acted by fake crying and taking about how her baby has all grown up.
I've been planned to join the dojo when I am 5 and since I'm 5 right now I'll tell my dad that I want to join. The Dojo is important as it would give me an excuse why I am building muscles but also learn some fighting style from a professional and someone who I can interact with as with videos I can't.
I also built a stronger connection to Ddraig to the point where I could talk with him in my head and he has been saying that I am really close to unlocking sacred gear.
Issei: 'Ddraig how strong do you think I am right now compared to the other races' Issei asked Ddraig in his head as he was curious how strong he was after all that exercise.
Ddraig: "I would say about close to a low level devil in terms of physical strength but magically they are far superior than you"
Issei: 'That strong huh' I was discouraged at first as he was really weak since there are opponents around the world that could kill him like he is an insect.
Ddraig: "Don't be discouraged partner as you have a bright future ahead of you and you are already this strong as a human within a short period of time which is an impressive feat and this is just the tip of the iceberg as you have potential to be far stronger."
Issei: ' Thanks for the words partner.' My mood became back to normal by Ddraig's words and I decided to work extra hard from now on until my bones and muscles are aching as I realised I am still far too weak compared to other beings in the universe.
Ddraig: "Your welcome partner, I see you are more determined than ever."
Ddraig: "Yosh, Let's much train harder from now on and this time I'll instruct you on your training. You are going be the next Red Dragon of Crimson Domination." Ddraig shouted at the end with enthusiasm.
Issei: 'Yeah, Let's go!' I followed along with Ddraig and shouted with determination and motivation to become the strongest in the entire world.
Today was the day that changed my whole life as today was the day I walked the path of becoming the next True Dragon of Crimson Domination.

KuroHyoudou This is my chapter that is a key point in the story and I have included some teaser in what may happen in the future. Anyways about the conversation of Issei and Ddraig hope it isn't too bad as I don't know the character of Ddraig properly so he may seem OOC to those who knows his personality properly. Ddraig's last words to Issei probably might be cringe but that was just some reference to the previous Red Dragon Emperor's and the juggernaut drive.
