Chapter 2: Present
"The queen has arrived! Stand up and bow!" one of my ministers said. I was the queen but it didn't felt like. The door of the meeting room opened. Everyone was standing with their heads low, the maids behind me helping me with some papers and my dress.
The only thing I hated after being a queen was this dress. This hanbok ( traditional dress) is so long and a bit heavy which made me want to tear it into pieces. But a queen is with manners. I can't do that.
"Everyone may sit" I said while sitting. Sometimes it felt good to be a royal blood. You could order anyone at anytime and they wouldn't deny. Everyone sat and the awkward peace took over the room. Sometimes it would be so annoying because no one would speak anything.
"Start" I said again. Minister jong stood up. He was the financial minister of Ilsan. Very loyal and reliable. "My queen, There is no problem in the financial condition of Ilsan." he said and sat down. Like this every minister told me the condition of the kingdom.

"Ji hae? are you ok?" my personal maid asked me after looking at my face. I was crying yes I was crying. It was my birthday and my father's death anniversary. " Please, can you leave me alone?" I asked as politely as I could.
My back was facing the door. I knew she would be sad with my tone but I couldn't care. The only thing important was my late father.
The door behind me shut and that's when I knew she left. I cried. Cried my eyes out. If only I could go back into the time and stop my father from going to the war. He would have been by my side.
The anger and self guilt was so much to handle for me. I could only regret even if it was not my fault.
Suddenly the door opened with a thud. " My queen JEONS are here!" it was the gaurd.
Jeons were here. The drama shall begin now.
