Chapter 30: Chapter 30 : It's me
The monster slowly approached a shelf and took a trophy.
"it's beautiful! it... shines!"
The eye on his forehead then began to speak.
"leave it you fat idiot, we have other things to do, like CARNAGE!"
"It's time for CARNA...."
But suddenly the little boy who had taken William's order earlier threw a white cloth at his head.
"hey you, are you seeing the mess you've made?
if you think I'm gonna clean it up for you you're dreaming."
The monster then punched in the direction of the boy who dodged easily and jumped on his head.
"wow, it's a good thing I don't get that angry every time I have to clean the inn."
The monster then began to break the inn, swinging tables and hitting walls then arrived in front of William.
William opened his eyes slightly staring at the monster.
William's only look made his body tremble, his eye on his narrowed forehead as if frightened.
Then with a soft and clear voice, William whispered
"On your knees"
The monster knelt instantly trembling.
Then he took out the eye on the monster's forehead, which turned into a short sword, then the monster turned into a young man with long orange hair in a white Knight Iop outfit.
"Sir, are you all right?" Asked the boy
"Thank you for your help" said another man with a long moustache and a smile on his lips accompanied by an old man with a golden shovel.
"It's nothing."
"My name is Alibert, this is my friend Ruel and my son Yugo."
"William Mancini."
"Thanks Mrs Mancini."
After presentation the face of the man called Alibert became sad and then he bent down and took Yugo's shoulder.
"Yugo, I've got something extremely important to tell you...when I found you, there was a message in your cradle and it talked about your powers, and your real family"
"Aaaaaaaaah"
But suddenly screams came to interrupt Alibert
"what's all this?" asked Ruel
Then everyone came out including William and saw the village invaded by many small black creatures attacking everyone.
Seeing this, Yugo, Alibert and Ruel rushed to face the monsters.
But unfortunately, every person these creatures touched transformed into a plant.
William did not intervene, he knew that this scene was necessary for the progression of the plot, after all the people in the village except Yugo and Ruel had turned into a plant.
William appeared again in front of Yugo who was crying because he saw alibert in plant form and Ruel who was comforting him.
"Don't worry, Yugo, we'll find a cure, i know an Eniripsa."
But as Ruel spoke, the before young man possessed by the monster, running towards them.
"Where's the man who freed me from the demon Rubilax."
"I'd forgotten that one, he's woken up at last" Whispered Ruel
He looked at them and introduced himself
"Sir Sadlygrove Percedal, Knight of the Order of the Shushu Guardians."
"you saved my soul!"
"I shall repay my debt, even at the price of my life" He said as he knelt before them.
"Oh, listen to that showoff! A knight, hoho! More like a dumbass!"Speak the sword in his hand with one eye.
"I order you to be quiet, demon!" Shouted he.
Without me, little farmer, you'd already have joined your stupid god in headless Iop heaven!
"I'd have managed it without you! You took advantage of an instant of weakness, that's all!"
"The truth is that you're just a peasant unworthy of being a shushu's guardian!Especially not one of my caliber!"
The Iop then got angry and started hitting the sword against the ground.
"Ouch ....stop...Ouch.."
Seeing this even William could not help but laugh slightly.
"Say, I'm sure the life of a couple is difficult sometimes, but you see..." Said Ruel
Young Iop then looked at the village before saying
"Right now we've got other bowmeows to fry!"
"Uh, you got polters here too?"
"They invaded two other villages, Dialogue, they come from the Forbidden Forest, i went there but didn't have time to find anything out, a foul creature took advantage of my sleep to attack me and...."
T"hat's when you begged me to save your hide!You two-bits knight!!!"
"Will you shut up!!!" Shouted the young Iop and hitting again his sword against the ground.
"ouch...ouch.."
Upon hearing this, Yugo decided to go to the forbidden forest to save Alibert, William offered his help and accompanied him with Ruel and Tristepin.
As he walked through the forest Ruel told of his adventure experiences, a few hours later, they stopped in the middle of the forest.
"this forest's gigantic, one month was not enough for me to go through it, i even started drawing a map so I wouldn't get lost."
To find their way in the forest, they sent Yugo for reconnaissance, he accepted with pleasure and began to open portals that allowed him to move quickly as in the game "portal".
"Whoa!...That trick of his is nice!" siaid Tristepin
"And the kid's a fast learner!"Replied Ruel
A few second later, Yugo reappeared in front of them.
"You see something, Yugo?"
After the indication of Yugo, they continued walk again before being interrupted by screams of women.
They quickly moved towards the direction of the cries and found two young girls attacked by the creatures before them.
As they entered the fight, William stood by and watched them.
They quickly got rid of the creatures and met the adventurers, the first one was a sadida called Amalia and the second one a Cra named Evangelyne.
"Two nights ago I had a prophetic dream, Sadida told me to go to the Forbidden Forest, because I was needed for a great mission, so we were fated to meet and follow the same path."
"Even though some were quick to blame a fertile imagination!" Said Amalia
"Well, everybody's entitled to some doubts, right ?" Said Evangelyne
"Cool! The more of us there are, the greater the chances to save my village."
They then joined the group, then they advanced through the forest ans Ruel continued to talk about the bounty hunter and adventurer profession.
"It's horrible" Said Amalia
"Ogrest's chaos!" Whispered Evangeline
"You believe in this legend?" Asked Ruel
"Although Ogrest was defeated by the great adventurer William Mancini, there are still traces of its destruction." Said Evangeline
"Wait, did you say what the adventurer's name is?"Asked Yugo
"William Mancini, why?"
Yugo's eyes turned to William, behind him.
"Sir William..."
"Yes, it's me." Says William
Everyone was amazed, their mouths were so wide that a watermelon could be put in them.
