Chapter 7: Destruction Due To A Prank
Xing Chen sat on his bed, categorizing all the information that the 14th patriarch had given them several days ago.
Before the Xing Clan had been isolated, they were once renown as an unshakeable and powerful clan throughout the Lunar Continent. Sadly, they were nearly destroyed due to two idiots who played a prank which escalated into a war against their clan along with another clan, the Jira Clan.
It all started as a prank by putting a powerful laxative pill, created by the alchemist idiot Jira Bai Ho and the silky pants heir, Xing Ya Fuk, in the wine of a wine-loving powerful expert thousands of years ago. Somehow, this powerful laxative pill created by these idiots nearly cause the powerful expert to almost shit himself to death. Thus, leading him to be bedridden for a month.
Once the word got out, the master of this powerful expert was infuriated with both the Xing Clan and Jira Clan. Instead of killing the two idiots like most would likely do, the master chose to rally the other powers and caused a war against the Xing and Jira Clan. Which cause the extermination of both clans?
Luckily, a small group were able to escape and somehow the anger of that master wasn't to the point of actual extermination.
This allowed them to escape with their tails between their legs and since then, they were stuck in an isolated space.
From the texts of their history book based in their Xing Clan of Jade City, their founder was named Xing Ya and their clan alchemist was named Jira Bai. Without thinking too much about it, anybody could have guessed that the two idiots had escaped and were the founders of their Xing Clan. Not only that, they even took the key that could allow the Xing Clan to be free from this accursed isolated world. This was the shame that could never be erased from the Xing and Jira Clan's history.
Although, Xing Mushu did not know what had happened to the Jira Clan as they escaped too. Despite the prank gone wrong, they didn't blame the Jira Clan but those two damnable idiots who brought destruction upon them. If any of the main Xing clan members could go back in time, they would beat those buffoons to the point they couldn't move and talk for many years.
Even so, thousands of years had passed, and they could no longer wish to beat Xing Ya Fuk up anymore. Hopefully, those who passed on would find his reincarnation and beat the living shit out of him.
'Drunk Car-san killed me and sent me to a clan with an extremely incredible and messed up history,' thought Xing Chen, swinging his short legs at the edge of his bed.
'I'd be happier to be one of those novel mc's who were just disdained for being weak but respected later once they got stronger… this is truly a terrible start for me. With this system, I could have prevented this from happening too. I need to get stronger. On the bright side I learned a new skill after visiting the main clan library often.'

As of late, Xing Chen had been browsing the main Xing Clan's vast library while the patriarch and a few elders tried to figure out how to use the red sphere-shaped key. This also included his father, since he most likely had the answers within the spatial ring that his older brother gave them. However, this only happened two days ago since their Xing Clan of Jade City wanted to bury the dead and mourn over their fallen members.
Soon, Xing Chen reached the Xing Clan's library and began reading as he has always been. Because of the key, no one paid him any attention during this week, so he was able to learn quickly, undisturbed.
