Chapter 3: Homeless
After doing all of that, the day is ending and Raphael went back to his one room apartment room. Raphael sat on the bed that he had slept for months about to approach a year, Raphael looked at the messy room yet admis the messiness there is an order to the things in the room. It was all already too familiar to him and he is going to leave this room, maybe for forever.
I sat on the chair and took out a piece of paper, I started to write. "Mom, sorry I don't think I am going to be able to support you in the future since I am going to go on an escape. At first it was just a moment of anger, a volcano of anger, at that time Raphael cannot held that volcano and since the volcano is already spewing it's lava and ashes, Raphael think it's better to let the lava cool down so the ashes can be used to support new lives." And the letter goes on, Raphael hopes the letter would be delivered to his family after the police took it.
I stood up before packing up my water bottles, instant food, solar charger, Nite*do Sw*tch that I borrowed, clothes, earphone, and soap along with some knifes I used to cook. Decisively I went out from my room and locked the door before throwing the key out from the window on the corridor.
Raphael gripped the sheathed dagger inside his pocket while walking down the stairs. I took out my wallet and bought a pizza before I sat under a bridge eating it until my stomach felt full but there are still two slices left and I want to save it for tomorrow, then some people in ragged clothes approached me.
"Hey, kid you are new right!" the man in the front said with certainty.
"If you don't want to be bullied by the others, you better join our group, you know unity and all." The man behind the first man continued.
Curious I asked, "so how do I join?"
"Easy just share some stuff with us and we will let you join us." Second guy said with a bit of laughter.
"Really? Then here, have some pizza." I gave them the box with two pizza slices on it.
The first man took the box and opened it before both of them greedily ate it, then after finishing it they threw the box away and looked at Raphael's bag with greed in their eyes.
"Hey, kid if you give us the bag, we will let you live on our territory!" the first man said.
"Yeah hurry!" the second henchman like guy continued.
Raphael looked at them with cold eyes before uttering "It's better if you just go away now, Raphael is not that angry right now."
The first man looked up from Raphael's bag to his face, a little weirded out but the second henchman like guy was already laughing out loud before saying, "Hey, kid seriously this is not negotiation, this is an order give that bag to us or we will beat you senseless!"
The first man focused on Raphael's hand that is still on his pocked before patting the second guy on the shoulder.
"What?"
"I think, we should just leave, we already got the food right."
"You chickened out, Rodney?"
Rodney looked again at Raphael and the weird feeling he had since seconds ago intensified and goosebumps rises up on his arms, cold sweats wettened his back, Rodney turned to the other man saying, "Yeah, I chickened out so what, I am out of here!" and he ran out from bellow the bridge.
Looking at Rodney's back the second man spat out "Che! Chicken." Before turning back to Raphael, "Hurry up, hand over your bag if you don't want to feel any pain! Hurry Up!" the second man approached Raphael impatiently wanting to snatch the bag from Raphael.
Just as the man was any moment away from snatching Raphael's bag, Raphael stood up with his hand swinging leaving his pocked and the second man heard "That Rodney guy is smart, he will live longer than stupid person like you, Raphael think." Before feeling the pain on his neck and the blood burst out from his neck staining the ground.
He was about to speak but the thing that come out was only gurgling sound as he clutched his bleeding neck, kneeling down before he laid motionless on the ground.
At that time, I am already above the bridge wanting to search for another place to sleep, I wonder why did I even moved it was quite a nice spot under the bridge. Raphael sharply looked at his right scarring Rodney who is hiding nearby.
After a while, Rodney come back after confirming that scary guy is not there anymore. He went back under the bridge and he saw the red poll and the motionless body on it. Rodney looked calmly at the lifeless body, it was not an unfamiliar sight to him and he knew what he must do, he must leave, doing nothing just leaving, not calling the police, not checking the body, he must leave, informing other there is a new predator on loose.
Being homeless for Raphael is not hard, you just need to kill enough people until they don't mess with Raphael anymore. If he want to take a bath he can just enter some random building that is open to public enter the toilet stalls before taking a bath, the hard thing is the shame but I got used to it, I even once entered a woman's toilet and took a bath there even when some other woman went into the toilet and used the stalls beside me.
If I wanted food, I could just forage in the trash can near the restaurant or fast food chain restaurant, it was surprising how much good food is thrown away by those restaurants, it was very easy when other homeless saw me they ran away, there is some people who wanted to stay but they are dragged away by the others, I wonder why. If I got bored, I could play with Nite*do Sw*tch or I could read novels on my phone, seriously Solar Charger is heaven gifted or I could just enter some random building again and charge my phone there. After a while I got bored with playing all the games on the Nite*do Sw*tch and I can't get new games so I just sent back along with a letter to Yani.

When the mail arrived to Yani, he was confused who would have sent this mail to him as the name is just I and the address is somewhere he don't know of but he still took, before opening it and he saw a Nite*do Sw*tch that have scratches here and there and it also felt familiar to him, Yani then remembered how he lost his Nite*do Sw*tch, 'Nah, it couldn't be him, it already weeks since that incident.' But then he discovered a litter bellow the Nite*do Sw*tch.
He opened the letter and began to read it, "Hey, Yani thanks for lending your Nite*do Sw*tch to me, I am very happy since it has been accompanying me for weeks now." The moment he read this line, Yani bolted from his seating form reaching to his new phone before calling the private number of the police that is assigned to him.
Minutes passed as Yani grew more nervous, in his nervousness he continued to read the letter and he begin to notice the disparity when the letter used 'I' and 'Raphael', and he is reminded by the way Raphael talked it was the same, that day when Raphael used 'I' he was like the old Raphael just… purer? And when Raphael addressed himself as 'Raphael' he changed into what the being that traumatized him, at least he didn't felt traumatized before knowing how Raphael killed a whole lot of people and brutalized their corpses before doing that to him then he killed Dino and Marcel, also what he did with Kashi.
At the end of the letter 'Raphael' asked him, "Have you recycled yourself? Along with the other two?"
Yani was in daze after reading that letter it was not until several minutes later that he is knocked out from his daze after hearing the frantic banging on his door.
Yani shook out from his daze and opened the door and he was greeted by the two inspectors, one of them is the one that is assigned to him until a week ago.
"Where's the letter?" his assigned inspector said with no nonsense tone of voice while the other one just silently followed behind him as Yani led them into his room and he have to admit with the new consoles and games he bought along with there people in it, his room is cramped .
Yani quickly gave the letter first to his assigned inspector while he gave the box that still have the Nite*do Sw*tch in it to the other one who is silently inspecting the box including the address and the name of the sender.
After a while even after the silent inspector finished inspecting the box and Niten*o Sw*tch, his assigned inspector is still reading the letter in full concentration before finally shifting his gaze from the letter to Yani.
"It seems this friend of your, Raphael is having spilt personality disorder, did he show any sing of it before?" the assigned inspector asked.
"No, Not as far as I know, just the day when he attacked me and my other comrade I began to notice it after reading the letter and remembering it again that before entering my room, Raphael referred to himself as 'I' and he is more childish but when I closed the door he began to refer himself as 'Raphael' from 3rd person view and his personality seems to be childish too? But he felt cold at least that is from what I remembered." Yani explained all of that in one breath making him grasping for breath after that.
"Got it, thanks for letting us know, we will interview other victims." The assigned inspector said as he kept his pen and note back to his breast pocket, leaving the door with both the letter and the box along with the Nitend* Swit*h.
"Did it really affected him that much, that heartbreak, hrrrr, I think I won't fall in love if possible, it's so horrifying." Yani muttered as he shivered even though the room is not cold.

Gradually Raphael's name is known to the underground's world and he was scouted as a hitman in name but grunt in actuality even so with non-hesitation in killing and efficient work, he is gradually promoted to a higher ranked hitman that worked independently now, not closely attached to any underground organization. At most only costumer and servicer relationship.
At first Raphael was known for his skill in knifes but then after introduced to sniper rifle, his skill as a sniper grew especially in assassination. So, when people required a direct kill that probably need public kill or stab kill or similar, they hired Raphael since he is not too proficient using chemicals to kill or illness or accidents since he is a one-man team.
As he grows, Raphael began to select his costumer. There was once when his costumer who was a human trafficker, drug & guns smuggler, and so on tried to hire Raphael to kill an honest politician that is amazingly haven't turned corrupted yet, Raphael killed him on the spot and even surrounded by the angry mobster, he managed to escape.
After that first time, it continued even if the costumer didn't met him directly they still got killed, whenever it's a headshot in the public leading to the police to dig deeper into the killed man or corrupt politician in the on air live, it continued, but the weird thing is the one who is killed is the one who requested Raphael to kill the 'good' guys. Perhaps he wants them to be aware that they are the 'bad' guys and wanting to decrease the numbers of the 'bad' guys.
Actually, when Raphael did his first shot of 'justice'… no perhaps 'repentance' is better. He was actually wounded nearly fatal but he was saved by the young orphanage operator whose name is Maria and when Raphael woke up upon seeing Maria he jumped out from joy making his wound bleed again, tackling Maria who is besides him, kissing her all the sudden shocking her before inserting his tongue into her mouth, awakening her but before she could bit the tongue invading her mouth, it already retreated and Raphael put his forehead into hers before whispering "Silica, I missed you, I loved you Silica, don't go again." Before going unconscious again.
