Chapter 3: Truth Be Told
"IT'S DONE!" Cyclops shouted in glee when he finally concocted the elixir.
"It took me days of boiling, and scorching, and grilling, and mixing and boiling again! Finally! my most successful potion! An elixir that could reverse any dark magic!" he added.
"Do what you have to do" interrupted Pharsa.
"I cannot wait any longer, MY revenge could not wait any longer!" she exclaimed.
"Whoops! hold your horses dear, powerful Mage. Before you start with your pish posh, crazy idea of killing the dark town, let me ask ye something as this bothered me since you got here" he said.
"..." Pharsa being speechless.
"Do you really want the curse be lifted and be able to see the light of the day?" he asked.
"One-eyed magician, I seek for your aid, not for your inquiries. Is there really a necessity to quenchh your thirst for Answers?" Pharsa said.
"Oh no, didn't I mention it to you? In giving aid or favors, I do not seek dawn gold or moon dusts in return---nor ask for blood of someone. Instead, I seek for the truth in return" he said.
"The Truth? I already told you, I am blinded by revenge! I want my sight back to punish those who wronged me! to punish evil! to punish that wretched Alice! I want to make her feel my pain and misery!" said Pharsa.
"Hmm...Very well...If you say so yourself,then so be it. That is your truth. But I have my truth to share as well" he then laughed mysteriously.
"I have no time to hear someone else's truth. This is a waste! let me have my elixir and get this over with!" she yelled at the starsoul magician.
"Aaaaare youuuu suuuuuure?" Cyclops sarcastically jokes Pharsa with his tone of questioning.
He continued saying, "This involves betrayal. A betrayal of friendship. Ah, how tragic!"
"I COULD CARE LESS!" a loud angry voice from Pharsa.
"Patience mi lady, you would soon find out who REALLY blinded you, and it's definitely not Alice hahahaha" he said.
"My patience is starting to wear off. Tell me your truth".
The Cyclops began to spill the truth Pharsa never wanted to hear. She was in great disbelief and pain after hearing what he has to say. She was furious. She was hurt and is ready to punish.

Minotaur is in bad condition. He lost a lot of blood from the gauging out of his eyes. He tried to heal himself with his ability, but to his dismay, it is of no use. He was too weak. He then gave up and just sat there against the rubble in the ruins of Minos.
When suddenly, he saw a crow flying towards his direction. The then crow transformed itself to Pharsa. Pharsa stood in front of a weakened Minotaur in distress but most definitely in anger.
"YOU PATHETIC LIAR!!!!!" she then struck Minotaur with her magic staff repeatedly until his beastly face was covered with bruises and blood. "YOU DESERVE TO DIE!!" she screamed furiously.
"Mi lady, me? a liar? you here have pulled my divine eyes mercilessly and have betrayed me. I though you are my friend? I thought wrong, you are a pitiful liar than I am!" he replied.
Pharsa then slapped her and forcingly break half of one of his horns to which Minotaur screamed in pain.
"YOU MISCREANT! I KNOW EVERYTHING, CYCLOPS TOLD ME! I KNOW THE TRUTH! YOU HAVE BLINDED ME!
Minotaur was speechless. "Kill me. Punish me by putting an end to this" he said.
"No!!! Tell me why, why have you betrayed me?I want to hear the truth from you before I end you!" she tearfully asked.
"Minos was falling apart, that time, we guardians are hopeless; we are frustrated on how to save our kind as our numbers have lessened over time because of these demonic attacks led by Alice. And so I have decided to have a bargain with the evil sorceress just for her to stop the attacks on Minos. She asked me to kill the rulers of your kingdom---but I cannot do that as we Minoan guardians vow to protect the all the royalties in this realm to ensure peace. Alice knew this very well but she is so evil that she had already planned an alternative" he said.
"Alice then said,that instead of me doing that horrendous act, she told me to leave our assigned camps during our guard patrol in your kingdom for them, the demons, to have the chance to attack the castle".
"And you agreed to this? YOU SELFISH THING!!" she yelled.
"I have no other choice, as a Minoan General, I have duty to my kind. They are my people. Alice talked me through the advantage of your blindness as you will be one of the most powerful mages whose powers shall be unleashed out of pain. She also said you'll be a great aid in wars" he added.
"YOU! YOU EXPECT ME TO BE AN INSTRUMENT OF WAR? YOU SELFISH, PATHETIC, COWARD! YOU ALL HAVE USED ME! YOU'RE A TRAITOR TO US! A TRAITOR TO YOUR PEOPLE!" Pharsa angrily added.
She then ascended to the sky and there, she unleashed red lightnings striking the ground at random, it also struck what seemed to be left at the ruins. She destroyed it all---with no traces of the then mighty land of Minos.
She was hurt and betrayed by the very friend he lastly trusts with all her heart. She was blind and alone because of him. She lost everything dear to her and her sight, taken against her will. She was used.
After the lightnings and thunders released, she calmly descended from the sky and faced Minotaur.
"I will not kill you. Instead, I will let guilt rot you inside. I want anger and rage be your eyes. I will let you walk this realm in shame. You are a disgrace to the Order of Minoan Guardians! And this elixir..." Pharsa then throws the crystal bottle into the ground. "I don't want a piece of you" she said.
"I am sorry, Pharsa. Truly I am. I deserve an eternity of guilt and anger towards myself. My soul shall have no redemption even after this life" Minotaur then weeps in sorrow while Pharsa transforms and flies away.
