Chapter 2: Chapter 1
~(y/n)'s POV~
"I can't wait! I can't wait!" Mabel said as she crawled over me to look out the window.
"Oof- Mabel!" I said.
"Oops, sorry (y/n)!" Mabel backed away and sat still in the seat. Okay, maybe not completely still.
"It's fine, Mabel." I straightened up in my seat. (I'm not straight hehe)
I looked out the window. Today was the day that I'll be going to a place called Gravity Falls. My cousins have already been there before, but I haven't. They have told me lots of stories about the supernatural creatures in Gravity Falls and I wanted to check it out for myself.
Yeah, I'm only 17 and read too much fanfiction, but I'm actually willing to go outside this summer. I looked over to Dipper. He was writing something in his notebook.
"Hey, Dip. What are you writing?" I asked him. He looked up.
"Oh, nothing. Just writing myself a note to look out for triangles with one eye." Dipper said.
"What? You guys never told me about a triangle with one eye."
"We didn't? Well, you should stay away from them. They're evil." He used his serious tone. (Like he has a 'serious' tone...)
"O...kay?"

We hopped off the bus and was immediately bombarded with people.
"Dudes! You're finally back!" A man with a tux and fez said.
"Welcome back." Said a girl with red hair and a green plaid shirt.
I felt kinda awkward just standing there. Then Dipper and Mabel turned to me.
"This is our cousin, (y/n)!" Mabel exclaimed.
"She's also selectively mute. She'll talk when she feels like it." Dipper said.
Everyone nodded. It was a good thing I had my cousins here to help me.
"(y/n), This is Soos and Wendy." Dipper pointed to the two.
"Well, it's good to have a new person in Gravity Falls since... y' know," Soos said.
Everyone, except me, nodded. What were they talking about?
Dipper must've seen the confusion in my face.
"Don't worry (y/n), it's nothing. Let's just get to the Mystery Shack."
I nodded.
