I raced through the forest. I sought the deku tree. I didn't know why because the deku tree died thousands of years ago but I ran anyways. I was functioning off pure instinct and I had to count on it if I wished to live.*
Ever since Captain Ganon became my knight, I had horrible, horrible dreams. Fear. Every time something was chasing me. It was a beast. Red locks flying loosely behind it as it ran behind me.
I have a bad feeling about Captain Ganon. He doesn't seem trust worthy. He never leers by my side. And my dreams certainly don't support him.
I hid behind what used to be the deku tree. The minute I felt safe I was denied the feeling. *snap* It was a noise of nightmares. But worst of all, the noise was right behind me.
I woke gasping for air.
"Princess!" My maid called out as she raced to my side. "Are you ok, Miss?"
"Ye--yes" I hesitated. "I only had the dream again".
"Oh thank Hylia. You know, the last time your great-grandmother, Zelda, had a dream like this, the fated hero came to save her. Dressed in blue, her knight helped her defeat the great gerudo king Ganon," she said. "And, yes I know the Captain's name is Ganon but it doesn't mean anything. He isn't a gerudo."
"Yes I know Hilda. I may not completely trust Captain Ganon quite yet but I do trust that he isn't evil", I said. "My dreams are of a red beast."

I walked towards the dinner hall. A princess shan't study with an empty stomach was one of mom's favorite thing to say.
I sat in the seat across from father. He looked at me with a stoic face.
"Zelda."
"Yes father?"
"Did you dream of the beast again?" He asked it in a stone cold voice.
"Yes father. But I pay no mind."
"NO," he slammed his fists on the table. "ALWAYS PAY HEED TO YOUR DREAMS. OR WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR MOTHER WILL HAPPEN TO YOU."
I shivered. He never yelled. He was very passionate about this but I couldn't figure out why.
"Father, what do you mean? Mother died because a careless civilian ran her over with his horse."
Father stared at me with a cold glare.
"Your mother died because she ignored her prophetic dreams. One night, in her dream, she saw her own death. A man in green used a sword to murder her. She did not take any precautions. And the next day when she went to a charity event for the Zoras, she was murdered. She did not heed the warning. I will not allow history to repeat itself."
I took a minute. Why did father lie about her death? What's the purpose?
Captain Ganon barged into the room.
"Sir! We're under attack from the gerudos!"
