Chapter 3: Sightseeing with Neesan
Rin got up early in the day. After prayers, he immediately prepared himself for sightseeing at the Town. He dressed in a jacket, jeans and a pair of shoes borrowed from neesan. Rin finishes preparing himself and got directly to the living room. He saw Miss Kagamine who already waiting for him in the living room wearing her favorite blouse.
"Kawaii." Thinking to himself.
"You're ready? Let's go." Ms. Rin Rin shows the area around the city.
As they wander the city, they met two girls who knew Ms. Kagamine.
"Konichiwa Kagamine-sensei." Said one of them. "Where are you going sensei?" she continued.
"Konichiwa, uh, Minori Aoko, Akira Claudea. I am going to do some shopping with my nephew from Malaysia."
"Ehh! Sensei's nephew? What's his name again?"
"Rin," Rin replied
"Well, you try to call nee-san." Minori Aoko asked.
"Nee-san," Rin said.
"Kawaii .." they both said.
"Rin, you're going to move here from Malaysia or you're just visiting neesan '."
"I moved here," Rin replies.
"Due to some circumstances, I will be his guardian from now on." Said Miss Kagamine.
"Wow, so you're going to study here?" Said Akira Claudea.
"Yes, he will start studying at our school next week."
"Hope we will be good friends at school," Rin said.
"All right sensei, Rin, see you both later," Akira said to excuse themselves because they are going somewhere else and they also didn't want to disturb aunt and nephew bonding moments.
"Okay. Take care." Said Miss Kagamine.
They stopped at a nearby clothes shop. Rin has tried various types of clothing. Everything seems very suitable for Rin. Miss Kagamine had bought several pairs for Rin.
"It looks expensive." Rin worried.
"It's okay." Kagamine Sensei replied with a sweet smile to comfort Rin.
They then stopped in front of the cosplay shop.
"Do you like to cosplay?" Ask Miss Kagamine.
Without even listening to Rin's answer, Miss Kagamine brought him inside the store.
"Welcome! What can I help you?" The shop assistant said.
"Bring me a set of samurai and a maid costume." Said Miss Kagamine.
"Okay, it'll ready in a few minutes." The shop assistant said before rushing to pick up the clothes.
Rin realized one thing as soon as he went into the fitting room, he didn't know how to wear the samurai costume.
"Rin, are you okay? Want me to help?" said Miss Kagamine.
"Sure. Ehehe."
Ms. Rin Rin helped the wore samurai costume. Ms. Kagamine is good at wearing these kinds of clothes. Could it be that this store was one of her favorite places?
"Kawaii." Ms. Kagamine smiled.
"Ok rin smile." Rin was very nervous, and red-faced when taking a picture of his first cosplay.
The next stop is a video game store. Rin is already in the store.
"Woah, this is an Elderguard video game before it went online and the only unit left to be sold. I'm very lucky." Rin said. "But I've had neesan troubled enough. Maybe I should not have bought it."
"You wanted that game that right. I'll help pay for them."
"But this game needs a console to be playable and it is quite expensive."
"So you don't want this game?"
"I.., want it," Rin said.
While Miss Kagamine was paying at the counter, she didn't realize that Rin was attacked by several masked men outside the store. Rin had fled into a narrow alley next to the store.
"What is going on?" his heart whispered.
He took a metal pipe as a weapon to defend himself. He imagined that the metal pipe as a sword and his view of the world changed. He seems to be in a video game. The kidnappers have surrounded Rin in the corridor. Rin was ready. He swung the skillfully as if he is a trained swordsman. One by one attacker collapsed with a swift attack unleashed by Rin. He beat three kidnappers easily.
"Rin, here you are. Hey, what's all this?" said Miss Kagamine. She was surprised to see the three kidnappers were defeated by Rin. "I'll call the police."
After several moments, the police came to the scene and arrested three kidnappers. After the incident, Rin mood was changed. He was worried because he feels someone is targeting him and he also didn't want neesan to get involved.
"Rin, you don't need to worry anymore. They've been arrested and are in custody." Said Miss Kagamine .
"Ye, but neesan. I'm nothing but trouble. Furthermore that incident earlier .." Rin said with a tone of voice that shows he is not only worried about himself.
"It is my job ... I mean you are now in trouble. So you need my help. If it's not me who else will?"
"I don't know what to say but thanks neesan. I am very lucky to be saved by someone like you." Said Rin touched by neesan pure intention.
"Yes, indeed. You are very lucky." Miss Kagamine said as she gave a sweet smile.
"Oh well, we're too far away from home. We should take a taxi."
Rin was tired and fell asleep without realizing she was asleep in neesan lap.
Meanwhile, in an unknown place.
"Hahaha! He is what we were looking for. The way he fought, no doubt it was him!" Said a man dressed in a tuxedo.
"But sir, we failed to catch him." Said the officer, who was dressed in a butler suit.
"It's just bait. If we managed to convince him to join us, surely the world will submit to us. We will be the ruler. Also, we don't even have to heed orders from that old man anymore after that." Said the man again.
"Dispatch the Russian boy to get him."
"Yes, sir. I'll dispatch him. Is there anything else you want sir?"
"Nope, you can leave."
