Chapter 6: A pair of mother and daughter
While the man is currently crouching in pain, the girl is happily skipping her steps into the mansion while eating the purchased chocolate. Just like what she thought, it's really worth fighting for. The moment you unwrap the box, the sweet smell of the dark chocolate will immediately enter your nostrils, letting your saliva flow out from your mouth.
She took one chocolate and put it in her mouth, the chocolate easily melted in her tongue, making her smile in satisfaction. Indeed, it is a high-quality one, worth wasting your money.
She went inside the mansion just to meet a bunch of unopened boxes of package. Before she could react, a delivery man spoke .
" Madam Ling, please sign the papers for the delivery."
Yueliang's face was turned black after hearing this. Madam Ling? No one of this house was called by that after her mother died.
She went near the delivery man.
"Excuse me sir but there's no Madam Ling of this house."
She looked at the person who the delivery man called Madam Ling and raised an eyebrow. It looks like this person is really getting into her role and dare to call herself as Madam Ling.
"Right Auntie Ning?"
Yueliang face the delivery man. "There's no Madam Ling here but there's Yueliang."
She looked at the confused look of the delivery man and didn't make things difficult for him. She picked the pen and signed for the packages and send the delivery man out.
"Yueliang! How dare you disrespect me in front of others? I am your father's wife!"
"Mistress." Yueliang corrected. "Even though you are married to my father, you cannot steal my mother's position in this house. After all you cannot be compared to my mother in any way."
"Your father and I are already legally married and that makes me the new Madam of this house! And soon my daughter will become a member of this house."
"Mother did the packages arrived?"
A figure of a girl was running from the stairs. She wore a dress that's been made by a designer that their family had a contract. It was hired by Yueliang's mother for her so that she can have all the unique dresses in the world.
And now it is being worn by Ning Qiqi. But no matter how she wear it, her body and Yueliang is like heaven and earth. Once the clothes of a celestial will be worn by a mortal, it will only be pig being dressed to look good but no matter what it is still a pig.
Yueliang laughed.
"The princess just move and a fake princess will replace her but tell me, what will happened to that fake princess when the real princess is back?"
"You- what are you doing here?"
Ning Qiqi was surprised to see Yueliang standing near her mother.
"I am my father's daughter so obviously I will be here."
She crossed her hands in her chest area.
"But you, why are you here?"
"I-I am now your father's daughter. My mother married your father, sister."
Yueliang eyes squinted.
Sister...
"My name is Ling Yueliang and the only daughter of Ling Manli , but who are you Ning Qiqi?", she said while emphasizing the word Ling and Ning.
"Oh right, a person who will never be me. Daughter of my father? Do you even know how?"
She went near the entrance of the mansion where two huge vase was placed, side by side.
"Can you do this?"
She pushed the vase and with a loud BANG the vase shattered.
"I am the daughter of this house and soon all of this things will be mine. My father will never punish me just because of this, but how about you?"
Ning Qiqi trembled because of what happened. It was an antique vase that had been auctioned for a hundred million! She can't imagine breaking something like that!
How daring is this girl to do that without even flinching. But she can never hide the fact that she can never do what Yueliang did, even having a thousand guts.
She was born in a family where she can't have anything she wants, but because of her mother marrying into the Ling household, she can have the life that she wanted but can she be compared to what Yueliang possesses? A princess at birth?
But sadly, she have to act as a white lotus so that her father will favor her.
Why can't she be Yueliang?
"Yueliang, stop it! Give some respect to me."
Seeing her daughter trembling because of Ling Yueliang, Ning Rouyang decided to intervene.
"Respect? Respect needs to be earned. And I can't see the reason to do that to you when all you did is to climb to my father's bed and seduce him."
She decided to go to her room to sleep. She pass over the mother and child duo and said, " If you will keep on doing that white lotus act, I advice you to stop ordering that expensive things."
She looked at the packages.
"After all , it will only look like you married my father for money, don't you think so step mother?"
After she spoke, she went to her room while closing the door.
Ning Rouyang clenched her fist. This Yueliang should have just died together with her mother, now she's like a thorn in all of plans.
Ning Qiqi cried in her mother's arm.She really hate Yueliang for this. She and her daughter are having a good time for 6 years and suddenly vanish because of this Yueliang.
"Hush now. Remember you must look good for tomorrow, so stop those tears now."
Right!Tomorrow is the gathering so they must look good, especially her daughter. It's her chance to find a rich man to match with her daughter. That way, their status will have a huge rise.
"Let's open the packages now and see if the dress that I picked will look good on you."
By hearing that, Ning Qiqi's tears finally stop.
"Let's see who will look good tomorrow Yueliang. Let's see who will the people recognize..."
