Chapter 1: I Love You
'How beautiful it is to be surrounded by the person you love. To be taken care by her. To be loved by her. How beautiful it is to spend your whole life with her.'
It was the night time of the onset of monsoon in the month of June and rain was lightly pouring on the streets of Mumbai. The weather was so nice as it was the first rain in the City. After suffering from the hot waves of summer, residents were so happy that they started enjoying on the streets. It was happy moment for everyone as they were dancing and singing and random noises could be heard in many places from the street.
But for Samer the only sound he could heard was the beeping sound of ventilating machine in the ICU unit. The paled face girl was lying unconsciously on the bed. The bandage all over her body was the proof that she had undergone surgery. And the frowns on her face showed how much pain she was suffering from. She was trying hard to hold on.
Looking at her in this state Samer was panicking like hell. He never felt this much fear before. The fear of losing the one you loved. He tried everything to convince himself that everything will be fine. He knew that he should remain calm as he had to take care of her. But for some reason he was scared. So scared that he felt like dying everytime seeing her frowning in pain.
Samer was sitting on the chair holding the right hand of the girl who was lying on the bed as tightly as possible as if telling her to hold on. By doing this he wanted to tell her that he is with her.
He couldn't believe that the girl whom he had just met yesterday was in this critical state.
Everything was fine and they were happily enjoying their candle light dinner. She was telling him how she was doing in her jewelry business and how happy she was. Seeing her acting like a child he couldn't help but chuckle.
"So you are going Delhi tonight. It means that I can enjoy my days before our engagement " Tina said with twinkle in her eyes.
"And how are you going to enjoy without me?" said Samer mockingly.
"Oh come on! there are so many guys around."
she joked.
Hearing this his expression changed and frost covered his face. One could even feel the dropping in temperature and chilling sensation running down their spine. But the only person who could tolerate this side and could bring back the warmth on his face was Tina.
Looking at his expression she couldn't help but laughed out loud and puffing her cheeks she said " I was just joking. Is there any need to scare me like that? You'll kill me one day with your ghost like expression. I wonder how many times you have already killed your employees? " She kissed his right cheek and his expression came back to normal.
Holding her hands he said " You have to take care of yourself when I am not around. You understand that? "
Hearing this her naughty expression changed into loving smile as she said " I'll miss you. And you too take care. "
" I'll drop you home first and will directly go to airport " he said as he hugged her tightly.
" Umm.. OK.. Don't forget to give your routine details to me. " she also hugged him tightly.
He dropped her home and went to airport. On the way he was giving her his every detail. He reached airport and undergone from all the security checks and finally sat inside the plane. They talked until air hostess came and informed him to switched off his cell phone. Only then he said bye to her and fastened his seat belt. After a while only plane took off.
After he reached Delhi and checking in to Grand Hotel he informed her of his whereabouts. And then he went to sleep.
After waking up early in the morning and before attending an important meeting his phone started ringing. It was Tina's call. He hurriedly picked it up only to hear her excited voice saying " Sweetheart it's raining here. Ahhh it's the first rain. I want to go outside and enjoy this moment. If only you were here. " she sighed.
Hearing this he gently said " No need to wet yourself in rain otherwise you'll catch cold. "
"I know I know.. Don't worry.. Oh! I forgot to tell you that I am going to meet a client at nine'o clock after half an hour. So if you contact me and you find I am not answering don't bother about that. I'll call you as soon as I will be free. "
" Ok ok but don't let me wait for more time. And drive slowly since the road will be slippery due to rain. " he said caringly.
" Hmm.. Sam?? "
" What happened? "
" I Love You "
" Love You too. Don't worry I will soon be there with you. And I will definitely let you enjoy in the rain after coming there. " he said after hearing how emotional she became.
" You better remember this. Take care. Bye"
"Bye"
After the call was cut off his door bell started ringing. Putting on the coat he opened the door to see his personal assistant Mr. Yadav. He was already there as his boss gave him some work to handle.
" Good morning, Boss. It's time to leave and attend the meeting " said Mr Yadav.
Samer just nodded in response with his cold but indifferent expression.
