Chapter 3: Accident
Samer dialed his Grandpa's number. The call soon get connected and an anxious voice came "Samer where are you? Why your phone was switched off? Are you with Tina? Is she seriously injured? Samer how is she?"
Samer was slightly puzzled with what his Grandfather was saying. After settling his thoughts and knowing about injuries of Tina, his heart started beating vigorously as he trembled and asked "What's wrong with Tina? Where is she now?"
"Samer you don't know where is she? She caught in an accident and is now in City Hospital and you are asking me where is she? Wherever are you just go right now." Grandfather said angrily.
Without waiting for another word he summoned Mr. Yadav and told him to book emergency flight for Mumbai. Mr. Yadav soon came to tell him that they have to depart now.
In just two hours they reached at Mumbai airport and went to hospital. In another half an hour after driving speedily they finally reached at the entrance of City Hospital.
At this time Samer's mind was completely blank. The only thing he cared about was Tina. He hurriedly opened the cars door and came out. Without closing the door he started running towards the reception area. After knowing that she was in ICU he ran towards elevator. He tripped over few times and sometimes he clashed with person but he didn't stop.
When finally he reached at the doors of ICU he stopped. After contemplating for sometime he pushed open the door only to see his beloved love lying unconsciously on the bed surrounded by various machines. Seeing her like this he started trembling uncontrollably. Traces of fear took control over his face as he moved forward and held her hand tightly.
When Dr. Patel entered into ICU room then only Samer came out of his dazed state.
"Doctor she is fine, right? When she will open her eyes?" Samer asked as soon as Dr. Patel entered.
Seeing Samer blood drained face Dr Patel scared but whatever he couldn't hide anything related to Ms Tina's condition.
"CEO Moon, act.. actually we tried everything to stabilize her condition. But.. . Even after undergoing two major operations, her situation doesn't seem to be in our hands. This accident was indeed danger. I am sorry CEO Moon but I am afraid that she has very less..." ever before finishing 'time left' Doctor heard "What the heck is this? How is this even possible?" after saying this Samer collapsed on his chair as if the soul from his body had been carried away.
When Mr Yadav entered the room he was shocked to see Ms Tina's condition and even more upset when he saw his boss holding her hand and caressing her face. He was muttering softly near her ears "Baby at noon only I told you that I will be with you soon. See baby I came. Wake up now and look at me. Talk to me baby..... " He continuously chatted with her as if she was listening to him but he got nothing in response. This was the first time when he saw his boss this helpless.
Mr Yadav didn't want to disturb him but he couldn't help as he said "Boss Police is waiting outside."
Only after hearing the word police he suddenly realized something. 'How did this accident happen and was it intentional or unintentional? And if it's intentional who is the mastermind?'
Just thinking about this he stood up and went outside the room. Police officer was waiting there as Mr Yadav said.
"I am sorry CEO Moon for bothering you at this moment. We tried contacting you several times but failed." said SP Rai.
"Did you find something fishy in this case?" asked Samer.
"CEO Moon, we got the call from a girl and she said that someone wanted to kill Ms Tina. As for that someone even she didn't know who were they. She told us to take the route from five star hotel to Gupta's Mansion. On the way to mansion we found the accident spot. Ms Tina was trapped inside the completely crashed car which is beyond repairing now. With so much difficulty we were able to free her and brought her here." SP Rai paused.
He then continue after breathing in some air "CEO Moon you are the most prominent figure here and Ms Tina is the granddaughter of famous president of 'Glitters'. With both of you as renowned figures you must definitely have enemies. CEO Moon do you suspect anyone?"
