Chapter 1: Chapter 1
When I look back in the past, all those memories keep coming. The memories of how my life changed in the past one year and what's funny that I never even got time to understand this change, it just kept on happening. Things changed, new people arrived, became essential to me, we fought but everything got into place. How weird.
" Eve, come on."
Those words brought me back to the reality. And as I was processing things a ball hit my hand, sending shivers to my body as I fell on the ground. It hurts really bad.
I saw Rose running towards me, kneeling down right next to where I fell. She was definitely worried, the look on the face is a bit funny.
I chuckled a bit, looking at her. She has that expression on her face again. She is thinking I'm an idiot. But with that kind of expression anyone will laugh.
"I'm good." I said, standing up.
"As if I would believe you."
"But I'm really fine, you see I've had worse".
"Let's go to the nurse office." She said, dragging me off.
Today is that day of the month, we are going to meet our high school friends. It's always fun to go back to those memories and think about old times and specially when your life has been changed due to the events in the past.
"You've been daydreaming a lot today, what's the matter." One of my college friends asked.
"It's nothing, really.."
Just then Rose called me.
"Eve, we are running late. Where were you all this time."
" Ok guys, see you later." I waved to my friends and walked to Rose.
"You are really bubbly these days." Rose said knowing the reason. But all she wants is to tease me
"Of course I'm. What else do you expect." I replied smiling.
" I'm relieved that you are happy now. You remember the first day you came to the high school."
And that is where this story started
