Chapter 2: The Sounds of the Harp

Slowly Jake approached the harp, wondering how someone could have left such a beautiful golden harp out in the forest. He inspected each of the strings and when he touched the harp a little stool appeared behind him. Mystified by the harp he sat and began to play, the beautiful melody rang out into the forest. The creatures of the forest lay just out of sight watching the boy play, and assessing whether it was safe to emerge from where they hid. The first of the creatures to emerge was Finn, Finn looks like a regular run of the mill dog but he has gills and lives underwater. Finn walked up and laid next to Jake who was entranced in playing the harp. When Jake noticed the handsome dog laid next to him, he stopped and asked, "where did you come from handsome", to his suprise Finn answered him back, " I came from that river right there and I think you may be my new best friend."
