Chapter 3: Finally she left him
Then after few days Xingyu after landing to his place of work , he started working in a restaurant of some kind of server and dish washer , as it was another country he was sure of gaining some money from here and later by coming back he could surely increase his business.
He daily have a nice talk to his woman over phone , when one day while washing dishes he was talking to her.
" Hello , Xinxin , are you fine ? Have you eaten yet ? "
Xin : Yes , I have and you ??
Xingyu : Yea.. eh I already... have
Xin : Don't consider me a fool , you didn't I know.
Xingyu : What are you expecting me as well , I also know you are lying.
Xin : Xingyu , I called you today to tell that this is no more working.... ( said she hesitatingly. )
As soon as he heard this from her , the dish felled from his hands into the sink.
Xingyu : Wha ,. ... What aaaree you saying ? What do you wanna say ?? I can't understand it.
Xin : You know it well , you are so penniless and the roaming call you gave me all day is also not affordable enough through the distance , you know there are also some living expenses there in that foreign country more than what it is here. So , I consider our relationship can't go more than this . This is our end.
When he heard this , it was like his life turned in some sort of hell , the woman he loved for more than 5 years , now wants to leave him. He was silent over 30 seconds when the manager came to him saying
" Hey!! you are always like talking on phone , do you wanna work or not ?? Should I dismiss you ? " the manager angered on him.
He said , " Just wait , mister , it's something important", his eyes were already red.
He said over the phoneline , " Are you .....?? Xinxin you are leaving me , leaving our relationship just like this . You said you will not leave me ever.
Oh... I see now I'm here , I think you have already grabbed some wealthy man. Right ?? " asked he in anger.
Xin : No , it's not like that . It's because of your situation. My grandpa is already ill. You can't afford my livings. And besides I'm marrying to someone who'll help me in grandpa's treatment.
The manager considered himself as being ignored he again yelled at him , " Hey ! are you some nuts ? Ignoring me you.... do you wanna regret later ? Can't you just do your work ?? Leave your call right now. Do you wanna lose your job like this ??
Xingyu didn't gave any response.
Xingyu : So, it's because of some wealthy bastard you are leaving now...
Just then , before he could continue the line cut and a 'doot doot ' was heard over the phone.
He tried to call in back , but he was out of balance. He was not able to call her back. Just the moment , he heard the voice going on his mind , ' you are penniless, you can't afford even my livings... ' . He was already frustrated upto now. When he heard a man's voice , so hard.
" Hey ! Do your work or else you'll be dismissed." saying this the manager went away.
And Xingyu threw the plate dish in his hand into the sink , as if throwing his anger and trying to remove his frustration.
The other side..
And when the phone call cut , which was done by Xin , immediately she started crying over the phone booth , she did know she love him, she can't leave him. But for his sake she have to leave her. He was financially not strong to keep himself. It was going so hard for him right now. He was working so hard but she thought she can't make him do more than this. Finally she left the booth , after crying for over 45 minutes.
Xingyu on the other hand was crying sitting in the kitchen , thinking only about her. In his whole life for the first time he was crying for someone, besides when he cried a lot when his parents left him in his childhood and now she left him.
No one can bear poverty , it's true.
"Sometimes the people around you won't understand your journey. They don't need to , it's not for them." said a drunken man who was sitting in front of Xingyu who was also drinking at the bar , trying to remove his frustration.
He again said unclearly , " I think your girlfriend left you, right. (When Xingyu moved his face upwards.) But you're a handsome guy . You can do so much things to earn . Besides if you have any left passions in you , you can follow it , because now no one's gonna care about the shit of you , neither your girlfriend will."
The man was speaking as if he was some philosopher, but what he was saying was obviously correct. The day he got his first piano in gift by his father , he was very glad. He still recalls it. He already had had a passion for becoming a good singer and releasing his own albums . But though no one noticed his potential , only she did who is no longer on his side. And now as no one's gonna ever care about him. He can do whatever he wants to.
