Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Life
Good Morning Lucy"...."when the sound came to my ears, I woke up I knew the sound came from downstairs, it was my mother"..Maria said.
Maria and Lucy were two sisters, Maria was the youngest one. Their mother always treated Maria as the servant of their house, and her elder sister Lucy did the same like her mother. The only person by whom she received love and care was her father.
Maria's life wasn't normal at all like others, but she was fine with all the sufferings, she had to face in her life. Maria always kept a smile on her face and was ready to die for her family too, specially for her father, who was actually close to her. Her family was her lifeline. She couldn't live without them, no matter how much pain her mother and sister gave to her. She just wanted to see them happy, and for that reason she was ready to bear all kind of sufferings, and would have gave her own life for the sake of their happiness. As if she was living her life to make her family happy. Maria had no demands, not a single aim for her life, no needs to get fulfilled. Having no demands, no wishes still her father used to look after her small small things and always tried to make his daughter happy, as he knew that he's the only one person whose gonna look after her no one else would do. She was always happy for what she had in her life. If her father gifted her anything special, her elder sister Lucy used to take it away from her, but Maria never complained about that to her father and that advantage her sister used to take.
Whenever any guests used to visit their house, Maria's mother used to introduce her as the servant of the house, and people used to think the same because her appearance and clothing style, her working nature was a big example of it. All the good and clean clothes were either given to her sister by her mother or just used to tear it infront of her, and specially on absence of her father. Maria never used to complain for anything but still her mother always threatened her. That's the reason when anyone new except the neighbours or their relatives, recognised her as the servants, when her father was not at home. Maria wasn't even provided food sometimes, whenever the work wasn't done on time or perfectly. Whenever she used to be sick, her mother nor her sister ever came to look after her for once in a lifetime, except her father. He was the only one person who used to take care of her.
More and more days went, but things were the same for Maria nothing's changed for her, each and everyday was like a hell. As if she was living her life inside a prison. Things became more worst for Maria, as she and her sister Lucy were growing up.
What's more is waiting for Maria in her life, will things be the same or something will happen that will change her life??
