Chapter 3: Chapter 3: "My name is Maria"
Maria was sick, she was unable to get up from bed but still she all alone completed all the household works. Her mom as usual ordered her to go to the grocery shop to buy some food items. Her mother hand over her a huge list. Maria went to the market, though she wasn't well.
While she was inside the grocery shop, she noticed that someone's watch was shining and the reflection came from the restaurant just opposite of the shop, other side of the road.
Maria noticed that it was Bennett, who was sitting and attending a meeting with his business partners. She just started blushing and couldn't stop herself staring at him.
Soon Bennett too noticed that a girl was staring at her, and it was none other than the girl, whom he did met few days ago.
Being noticed Maria felt shy, she came out of the shop and almost started running but fortunately she couldn't as she saw Bennett was standing infront of her. Her heart was beating so fast, that she was able to hear her own heartbeat.
For Maria, the time stopped, she could only see Bennett infront of her and everything was vanished. Suddenly a sound came into her ears,
"My name is Bennett, I hope you already know....I saw you last day."
Maria felt too shy to reply, but she did.
"My name is Maria, I am Lucy's sister."
Once again they both had a eye contact.
"Nice to meet you Maria".. Bennett smiled and said. She was literally blushing. He was called by one of his business partners. In the meantime, Bennett's brother Benzo came and continued the conversation with her. Maria was happy talking to Benzo as she knew it was her would be brother in law.
Maria's father was passing through the same road, he noticed Maria and Benzo talking to each other. He was actually happy to see them together.
Author's P.O.V. :
Maria's father was not like her mother or sister, everybody knows that, he would never be angry on the fact that her younger daughter was talking to her elder daughter's would be husband, but on the other hand there was nothing to be happy too to just see them talking to each other.
While walking back to home, Maria felt something different, something strange feeling after talking to Bennett, which she probably never felt for anyone. Whatever was happening to her seemed to be happened for the first time in her life,as if she was falling for Bennett.
After a while, Bennett came to talk to Maria again when he noticed that she was gone. It made him a bit upset.
"Isn't Maria too beautiful, brother"..Benzo uttered with a flirty voice.
Bennett gave a strange look to Benzo as if he was jealous with the fact that her brother was trying to flirt with Maria.
"What was that strange look for?? You are going to get married soon, so why shouldn't I plan for myself too."
Benzo laughed and blinked at Bennett.
Maria was completely unknown with the fact that the guy she was actually falling for was her would be brother in law, not Benzo. Hence, Maria was also unknown with her father planning her marriage with Benzo, the same day Bennett and Lucy was going to get married.
What will happen when Maria will get to know the truth about Bennett and Lucy getting engaged soon?? Will she be able to handle it, loving the person who was her sister's would be husband?? Or something more will change her life??
